An interesting blend of Greece and Japan!  For sticking so closely to the original, I think you did a fairly decent job of letting the InuYasha cast shine through.

One question: have you ever eaten a pomegranate?  The skin is very tough and very bitter - biting into it would be like trying to bite into an orange through the peel.  I've only ever heard of people slicing or breaking open a pomegranate to get at the edible bits... but maybe I am just a pansy at pomegranate consumption?

It was pretty well-written, but I think the ending could have been a little less abrupt, in that you didn't continue the story.  In the greek myth, there was more to the tale.  Please, don't take offense, it's just my opinion, and of course, this is your story.  I have to give you props on your better than average grammar skills, though - too many nowadays just can't write the english language!
