I really enjoyed the last two updates. Especially the part where Inuyasha is trying to explain to Minoru what exactly Kagura is to Naraku (I'm brain dead today. I almost typed Naruto LOL)

I like Kagura... and I've Really hoping with this development that you have Something of happiness in mind for her. Apparently not Minoru, as he's happily mated and in fatherhood, but maybe someone else? :crosses fingers:

HA!  Brainbleach!  And also a bit of information provided to an alert and active brain...how interesting!   I can't wait to see how quickly Minoru puzzles out the truth.  I've often wondered about Kagura - because Naraku's power seems to be one of absorbing others and then stealing their strengths and powers.  he cannot CREATE, not truly...but he can distort and desecrate, that much seems certain.  I wonder how much of Kagura's original being, whatever that was, remains...and if she can be returned to a sylph-like state, or if she is doomed to the twisted death of the twisted soul that broke her. 

I hope not; she deserves better, and Minoru is certainly that... :D

Hmm hmm Hmm...interesting...and sad, because she's been so bound to service and her own destruction that she can hardly tolerate the thought of acting against Naraku's will.  What will his response be, I wonder...and how will she pay for her moment of weakness?

I hope she will be able to break free of Naraku's control. With her newfound love for Minoru at least she will have something pleasant to focus on instead of the misery that Naraku brings her.

I have to admit: I'm loving that Kagura has the chance at a little romance! She hardly gets the attention she deserves. Of course, that's assuming you're going to let her be romanced...you are, aren't you...?

If I got this right when she said, "From the horrifying realization that she would now live for the man who had given the gift of her own identity.". Does this mean she will live for Minoru?   And another question is she realizing because of the gift he gave her, she loves him now and fears he will not love her back.

Well we needed external bad guys to take some of the pressure off. I wonder where things will gofrom here and what Sesshoumaru will do about it when he hears about it. I can't wait to see what happens next :)

Haha take that Kagura! I loved when he told her he was "An entertained spectator" LOL Minoru really cracks me up. I really do love his sharp wit and even sharper tongue. Glad he showed Kagura why it isn't smart to mess with him.   Hint... Hint.... Beg....Beg.....You know if you ever decide to do a one-shot focused on Minoru I'd gladly read it <---------- still shamelessly trying to plant plot bunnies :D

Haaaahahahahaa!  Take that, witch!  Your own power comes back at you, but it is not tainted by the touch of a monster's will, nor the desire to destroy that marks all things of Naraku!  I'm sure that was quite a surprise for Kagura; she has such arrogance, such confidence in her own ability - and rightly so in most cases...but not here and now, not against Minoru.

And I wonder what Inuyasha is going to have to say about one of his enemies doing a runner in the face of Minoru's apparent power?

Hmm...Inuyasha using his brain, how very unusual and necessary!  Nice of him to have recognized that though the motices of the person involved are unknown, there's a good chance that Minoru's tutelage will help him to become more the person he has apparently, seecretly, always wanted to be - it will fill the gaping wound that is his jealousy of Sesshomaru, jealousy of his nature, of his position, of his wealth, of his legitimacy. 
And that wind -a polluted, too much wind.  Kagura cometh, storming across the sky!  I can FEEL it....

And I wonder what kind of disaster is going to ensue now?

TEACH HIM!?!?!  Ha!  Minoru's got his work cut out for him, that's for certain...and I can't help wondering, too, what Sesshomaru is going to have t osay about this when he inevitably finds out.  Manners and Mayhem...I wonder how those will go together Inuyasha-style? :D 

Something sweet in this too - that Minoru is willing to help Inuyasha, not because of Sesshomaru, and not because of Kagome...but because the place that Inuyasha has made for himself is not a fitting place, and Minoru knows it.  He just can't leave well enough alone...and "not well enough" - well, he can't leave that either, obviously! 

Devil Puppy?  Ahaha....There are so many things going on here - Kagome trying to make nice and understand, Sesshomaru trying to allow her without murdering her....and then on top of that the amusing interactions with Minoru that have made this...misunderstanding of the moment possible.  There's also the fact that beneath the humor, some serious contemplating is going on.  Sesshomaru wants to understand the nature of this woman-child who is stealing away the new and vital portion of his life that is Rin...while she simultaneously offers herself as a companion, a confidante and a focus for great curiosity.
