I used to become nauseous every time I'd see a couple dressed all matchy-matchy.  I'm glad this is something rarely if ever done, nowadays...  But somehow the idea of Kagome dressed in a kimono that matches Sesshomaru's silks does not seem disgusting in the least...

Yeah!  In the anime and manga, I always want Kagome to call InuYasha out just like that!  But, it must be some kind of cultural thing, she holds mute about Kikyo and all of that baggage...  I guess we're supposed to admire her restraint, and understanding of InuYasha and Kikyo's prior relationship, but to me it is just begging to be used.

Sesshomaru listened to Kagome bitch for AN HOUR?  He really isn't a human male, now is he?  I wonder if he was tuning her out during most of her rant...

I'm glad he wasted time walking :)  I always love it when Sesshomaru comes to Kagome's rescue, I loved the scene in the anime when he interrupted Mukotsu attempting to rape and kill her, and when she was injured by InuYasha, and he let her hang onto his moko-moko...

I am growing very fond of your writing style!  It is very delicate.  This first chapter was beautiful, and sad.  I wish my computer did not become ill from visiting Deviant Art, I really want to look at the artwork this story is based upon...
