So what'll you think will happen to Moryomaru? I think he and Sesshoumaru had to have a battle of strength and wills first, then Sessh can convince him to relocate and help him take down Naraku. I think also this will be the only way for Sesshoumaru to get his reputation back by showing that he wasn't the one to kill Magatsuhi, but Naraku's new drug.

What concerns me is that since they were siphoning off youki power, Sesshoumaru may be at a greater risk while he's fighting this youkai creep and he'll need to use more brain than brawn just to survive not getting consumed by it. Eeck, nasty way to die. Be smart our hero! Naraku is putting you up against this creep hoping you don't make it out alive!

Eeee it's getting thick now, and for a moment I was totally confused as to when Sesshomaru figured out that Kagome was a cop, because it just kind of popped up at the end of one of the chapters. Anywho I can't wait to see what happens next, and I also can't wait for another installment of Beside You In Time. It really is one of my favorite stories. Great job as always!

Absolutlu love this story! So you should  update, Luke excessively and soon! Hahah but honestly I live the depth between them even though they are both pretty much liers to one another.

So, Naraku throws Magatushi's fight and lets him get killed so that he can lure Sesshomaru (a very powerful demon) to his fights. There, his tags drain off some of his youki each fight - enough to keep him from healing properly afterwards. He'd be doing it to all the other tagged demons too, but Sesshomaru would be his best money maker since he has the most youki. I think. 

I like.  :)

I really like this chapter - I think it is because of Kikyo's comparison between Sesshomaru and Kagome.

And so it begins. That filth that is Naraku almost got a hold over Sesshoumaru in the series too. Only there Sesshoumaru couldn't just push Rin away as she was a child with no place to go and so Naraku always used Rin against him. Here, he thinks that by pushing Kagome away she won't be hurt but Naraku never keeps his word and I'm sure he'll use her just as he does everyone's loved ones. If Sesshoumaru thinks InuYasha and Kikyou are safe, I'd have to say I doubt that too. People like him can get information from the most secure places where our identities are protected. Everyone has their price, so it is said.   JEN

Oh sweet Rosie B!!! I have so missed you. I just reread this whole fic from the beginning because I remebered the first few and then, well RL dropped off for me too. I'm so glad you're going to finish this. It's a really good fic. (but then everything you write is really good in my eyes)

My Uncle used to be a professional boxing way, way back in the day. He and all his sons got into watching it after he had to bow out and change his career for the sake of his family. He never let any of his boys get into it. Two were into wrestling in school but that's as far as he'd let them go. He wanted more for them then this life could offer. My uncle dies a few years back from brain damage due to his years in boxing.

When I met my now husband he was super into boxing so I learned for his sake so each time a game was on I wouldn't get angry that he'd plop down in front of any tv to watch a game. We even sat in a store a few times watching on the newer big tv screens and wow, the blood and gore was way to much for my liking. Now from time to time he'll watch the boxing that has kick boxing included and that's totally brutal. Yeah, he calls me a wuss.

This has been a fun fic for me. It took me back to my dating years with him and I also am a fanatic for cop stories, mysteries, and adventures. You have a great talent for mixing it up in what you write. I don't care how long it takes you to ever finish a fic, I'll be there to read it.  JEN
