Inuyasha in a cravat... no... wait... it's coming, slowly... no, it got away from me. LOL. The only thing funnier than Inuyasha in a cravat is Inuyasha in a Naval Uniform ala Jane Austin's Persuasion with Ciran Hinds. I can just see him in one of those huge hats the captains wore. LOL! This is going along smashingly, especially when Inuyasha decides to beat up Miroku! You are doing great job of creating totally likeable characters - except for Bankotsu. He really is a rotter! This has been a delightful break from my Catherine Coulter collection, I look forward to the next chapter!
Midnight, you're getting carried away a bit, they didn't have plastic in the Regency period. I do think they might have had glass grapes and oranges, or perhaps china...
By the way, all the shrieking and snorting you been hearing is just me reading through the fight!
*gigglesnort* I LOVE Lady Higurashi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This just keeps getting better and better! But you have me confused, you've stated that Kagome was away from Ton for a year, but then she's 23 and has been away for years, which i actually agree with, it would take years for the family to live down kikyou's shame, then it's back to a year she's been away. I'm so confused.
I am enjoying this immensely, having become hooked on period bodice rippers of late, and I think this is a very clever setting of a Sess/Kag tale. I have noticed a few things as I read, but this one error should be corrected:
She had quite an impressive array of [fauna] flora... (Fauna is animal, flora is floral/flowers, this is a mistake I've seen often.)
Ruriame (Chapter 21) - Thu 24 Jun 2010
In a less volatile manner, huh? Nice word choice, Mama Higurashi.
Boy, Sango got Miroku whipped into shape! LOL.
And several buckets of water, indeed XD
Ambra (Chapter 21) - Tue 22 Jun 2010
So English, so Jane Austen, so fantastic!
I read your story in a heartbeat: I truly love it. Wonderfully well written and perfectly aligned to XVIII century English gentry/aristocracy, it flows so easily between one chapter and the other that I couldn’t stop until the last chapter.
Keep going: I’ll eagerly wait for your updates!
Ruriame (Chapter 20) - Sun 20 Jun 2010
A food fight. How childish of them, haha. And Sango and Miroku are too afraid to butt in, huh? Mama Higurashi to the rescue? Maybe?
isuzu (Chapter 12) - Sun 20 Jun 2010

Bloo_Shadow (Chapter 20) - Sun 20 Jun 2010
Wow. You really dragged on this story. I am disinterested in it now. It was a lovely start but then you dragged out the story for twenty chapters with out so much as a peep or a memory of Sesshomaru. I kind of looks like you are trying to hook up Kagome and Inuyasha. T__________T
im totally addicted. i cant wait til you up date.
Patricia (Chapter 19) - Tue 15 Jun 2010
i read the whole stroy in one sitting! i hope it gets to sesshomaru soon! keep up the great story
OMIGOSH! This story is so incredible! Thank you so much for bringing it to Dokuga!
I have always wanted to write a story like this but have never figured out how to do it without it sounding contrived. Your story is so excellent! It is like a mix of Pride and Prejudice and all things tasty of Inuyasha! I am so excited for the next chapter!
Ruriame (Chapter 19) - Tue 15 Jun 2010
This story is great. It actual makes me feel like reading novels from this time period but I don't think it would compare. Your writing style is fresh and I'm completely amused by how you incorporated the characters into the different roles in the story. I am really enjoying reading this! The humor and wit is marvelous and the imagery is stunning. I really look forward to what happens next!
This story is sooo amazing! and wonderfully written, I cant wait to read more! I love it! *faves*

Anyways I'm super grateful that you decided to share this fic with Dokuga members. Thank you so much!
Zyren (Chapter 19) - Mon 14 Jun 2010
