Aww.. this is so sweet. How can Kagome be so forgiving? If I were in her shoes I will sulk for days lol.
Although it is also has left a bitter taste in my mouth. She had prepared for everything, dressed up, and waited for him until she fell asleep... at least Sesshomaru felt guilty over it. He has to hire more capable people in the near future so that he can spend more time with Kagome.
Anyway, this is a sweet story (again), and I'm glad to read it.
*giggles* This is a very sweet one-shot. I really enjoyed the snippets of details you took to enhance the characters. For example, Kagome's cut outs that show she puts effort into handmade things instead of buying. I thought that fit her personality perfectly.
I love the imagery you added when describing Sesshomaru's return to his home. I imagined Kagome to look enchanting as well! You helped me picture this of course. Your use of words is really good. The plot of this short one-shot was well planned as well. As I tell many one-shot authors, it is really hard to write one that can fully grasp the heart of a reader and make them fall in love with the characters. It takes time for readers to also connect with the characters. You achieved in making me love Sesshomaru and Kagome by the end of the one-shot.
I hope you continue to write many stories in the future!
That was almost bittersweet. The flow of this one-shot was really nice and even-paced. I loved how we saw just how much Sesshomaru didn't want to leave Kagome on such an important day - for her. Even though it didn't seem to be as big a thing for him, he wanted to be there for her. Great emotions here as well.
