I'm rather confused by this chapter.  Mainly, in chapter 1, Kagome was there when Sesshy was stabbed in the heart by Inuyasha using Tenseiga, which also went into the pillar he was tied to, pinning him to the pillar.  Then, in chapter 3, Kagome finds Sesshy still sealed to the pillar, but she doesn't remember being there when it occurred??  She doesn't remember the spider or the deaths of all her demon friends?  Even though it has only been a few months since it happened, according to this chapter, anyhoo.  How could she forget Shippo and Kiara, and all the others, and how they died?  Selective amnesia, maybe, due to PTS (post traumatic stress), but even that seems like its stretching it a bit.  And, when Sesshy woke up, why would she not remember it then?  And Sesshy himself doesn't remember what happened either?  So confused I am. 

Anyhoo, maybe the next chapter will reveal some answers, ne?  Hope you update soon. :D

@_@ well... that didn't go to well now did it? And just out of curiosity, I thought it was five hundred years? Just asking lol. Anyway i can see things are going to be rocky for awhile, but that's to be expected I suppose. And all that beautiful hair.... *sigh* so sad. Great job and I can't wait for the next chapter!!

Okay.  I'm starting to like this story.  I love the intro to this chapter and the imagery describing his drift into consciousness.

I'm very curious on how Kagome assists him in becoming acclimated to the new world.

:D I really enjoyed this chapter, particularly the part about the merchants offerings to make Sesshoumaru's whites whiter and to provide him with added freshness through the use of pads! :P

I also like how you described his awakening and the fact that you weren't afraid to make him appear vulnerable. It is a really nice change when so many stories make him seem like this all powerful being that is incapable of such emotions as uncertainty and fear. I can't wait to see the interaction between Sesshoumaru and Kagome. No doubt they have much to discuss.

okay so i went back to read this after realizing you added another chapter and at first I was confused, but I think I have it figured out now... Kagome doesn't remember him getting pinned because it hasn't happened to her yet, and i know it said the well was closed, but I'm guessing it's going to open again for her? What made me think that was where she was huggng Inuyasha in the first chapter and telling him that it would work and she knew it would. Anywho that's my guess... can't wait to see what happens next!

Oh man!! I am so excited right now! When I first saw the chapter I thought it was kinda long, but as well written materials tend to do, it went far too quickly! I am SO eager to see what will happen when Sesshoumaru wakes up! I have a sneaking suspicion that he will not be in a very good mood. *sigh* Don't be surprised if I bug you for the next chapter! I'll try not to, but no promises!

All that crystal dust is from the disintegrated, crystalized bodies of the demons that were in the cave and trapped in the web, isn't it? And they walk through it without even knowing that they're probably walking through her friends and demons she knew.

I suspect her lack of memory could be a) Something messing with her memory, like the Shikon jewel. Or b) because she hasn't actually been there yet. I'll need to reread chapter 2, but it could be that she ended up back in the future before the final battle, and at some point after finding Sesshoumaru she has to go back for the final battle (this would also explain her certainty that it would be alright, though she could have just been relying on hope when she told Inuyasha that).

I love how this story is going though, can't wait to see what happens next! :D

She doesnt remember what happened to him??? That's worse than just finding him like that.

So the 1st chapter happens after the Jewel is completed? Miroku & Sango are married and have kids...Kohaku is alive and with Rin, Inuyasha is full human but Sess is cursed with something that turns everything crystalline...my head is spinning.

And once again we jump over the cliff and into another adventure because we just can't say no to you. Lady B, you are one of my addictions, I'm afraid.
