I found your fiction on Mediaminer (months ago) and got hooked immediately. THE PRIZE was the fiction that introduced me to the world of hentai I've been addicted ever since! Thanks to your story, my dear QS, I discovered this lovely, smutty, sensual world and for that, I should be on my knees before you;)

Firstly, as I'm leaving the comment for the entire story, I'd like to say that I love the realism of the described events. The way you write makes me feel as if I was within the story, watching the burning battlefield after defeating Naraku, I could smell the smoke, see the destroyed lands... I was there, seeing what everyone saw, listening to what everyone said, able to immerse myself in everybody's feelings... Later, I found myself tasting the flavour of the food they ate… I could nearly feel the warm water of the hot springs on my skin! And as for their intimate moments… when I first read it, I almost fell of the chair! I wanted to be...her! Heh… I guess I’m not alone in this, for everybody wants to be in her place...

I've read many fictions and some authors tend to really rush things. You know, the way: she is good and full of warmth for everyone, he is bad and cold but there is crazy passion between the two, the quick tour to the final mating and abracadabra - he is good now and totally in love with her. I really like the way you are changing him. Even thought you went straight to the point with mating, his personality remained the same and it began changing slowly, almost unnoticeably to the other than Kagome's eye - it was very convincing. She should be the only one who will get to know his real, deep and rich nature.

I really liked the moment in which he revealed the real reason of the brutal fights with InuYasha. This indicates that there’s more about Sesshoumaru that anybody ever knew.

I will say it once again: what an amazing story! One of my favourite Sess/Kag stories I have ever read!

PS - I wish that there was a continuation... (hint, hint, hint!!!)

Really and truly well done.  Like another reviewer wrote, the lemons were all tastefully written.  I could almost picture Sesshomaru truly being the stoic Lord on the outside, but behind closed and locked doors, more revealing to his mate.  Yes, a sequel would be wonderful.  This time bringing in the rest of the Inu Tachi and maybe bringing in another threat?

Haha, that had me laughing when he was making her say that she was beautiful and smart. It reminded me of someone in my Band class who honestly every morning when she wakes up says she is beautiful to herself in the mirror.

I really enjoyed reading that. I like your perception of Sesshoumaru as well. Even if it's from 2005, it's still a great story. I also thought the lemons were tastefully written :). About the reason InuYasha chose Kikyou...I don't think it really matters to me for this story particularly, but it's nice that you attempted to address that discrepancy. You did a fantastic job.
