Oh, so CUTE! I would just cuddle up with a puppy from sesshoumaru too! lol, i can't wait for the next chapter! I was waiting forever for it, but when i saw it i was like "YES!!!"

Were the puppies eyes golden? or the regular hazel? And i bet it was fluffy, wasn't it? I bet she really does know who her admirer is, what with the fact she named the puppy Maru, a type of nickname from his name. Sesshou would have been too obvious, i think. And, isn't the Maru part of his name the 'perfection' part? In essence, she called the puppy 'perfect'!

I can't get over how he was thinking of her, i hope the next chapter is out soon!

And how was your x-mas and new years? Are your bf troubles gone? I hope everything is okay, now....

I'm so glad that Kagome's mirror didn't break, stupid Inuyasha.  It must be wonderful now that Kagome realizes that Sesshoumaru is interested in her.  Now just to get rid of Inuyasha.  Hopefully Kaede's hut doesn't get ruined by Kagome sitting Inuyasha too much.  Beautiful update!  Can't wait for more!

Inuyasha's such a child--he should just be happy she's happy instead of beeing so selfish. He already has Kikyou, why not accept that Kagome will move on. I love how you've woven my favorite song, "12 days of Christmas" into this story :) Keep it up! And even if this wasn't completed by Christmas, hopefully it can be completed by next Christmas xD...(or New Years? ::wink::..)

I was smiling when i read about the mirror, and the giggling and clapping to myself as i read the bit of the bouncing and not breaking! I was so happy! lol, my mom thinks im insane, but i dont care! Lol!

I will answer you anonymous.  Right before the creature got to her, she felt a thump which meant something was thrown to or at her.  It made her look to her side to see the dagger.  That means that Sesshoumaru threw her the dagger trusting that she had the knowledge and courage to defend herself just as time on my hands beautifully explained.

I'm glad she was able to save herself, even though her mysterious gift-giver helped in a round about way.  In most stories, she is usually saved at the last moment by someone else killing the bad youkai.  Here she was merely given the weapon and it was up to her to save herself.  It was a good morale booster and lesson for her. 

?.? where did she get the dagger...i know sess gave it to her but where did she get it...i'm kinda clueless...?.?

I'm glad I was able to give you an idea for a gift. However, you wrote it so well that she actually received two gifts. The second was his confidence in her abilities. Unlike Inuyasha, who constantly runs her down telling her how weak and useless she is, her admirer allowed her to use her new gift to handle the situation herself. He could have stepped in and rescued her, but he knew she was capable of taking care of herself. Of course she is unaware of that gift. Can't wait until she figures out who her admirer is.

And so what if you don't finish this story by Christmas. Is there some unwritten law that you can only write Christmas stories at Christmas? It will still be just as good if I read it after Christmas. I'm sure your readers will forgive you for having a life. Most of us do. And for those that don't, they will just have to be patient. I love how you had him send her a gift that helped her right away! Now she can yell at inuyasha, and when sesshoumaru tells her who i was giving her gifts, she can rub it in inus face that sesshy helped her more than inuaysha did. Inu might have protected her more, but that doesn't help her as much as giving something she can defend herself with!

Again, lovely chapter. I understand about this season being terribly busy. lol, hope to see another chapter soon! And thanks to the two that gave you the dagger idea! Very nice!
