Boy, could Inuyasha learn a thing or two from his brother. I absolutely loved this story. The way you showed his courtship through gifts was amazing. On the surface you would think that he was just trying to impress her with the extravagance of the gifts and buy her affections. But if you look deeper, each of the gifts has a meaning. He is expressing his desire for her, his confidence in her abilities, his belief that she is a worthy mate. Unlike someone else who sees nothing but an inferior copy of his dead love, he wants Kagome for herself. For who and what she is. You have conveyed this perfectly. Kagome also has the insight to see the gifts for what they are, to realize the meaning. Eventually, anyway. Once she finally puts two and two together and gets four. Math was never her strong suit. lol.  But then, you got that right too. Kagome can be a little on the dense side at times. 

The only other thing I could ask of this story is an epilogue. A little bit of their happy ever after. You had Sesshoumaru having tea with her mother in her time. Sesshoumaru was hiding from Kagome, so that says the whole time paradox thing is in play. How long has her mother known? How many kids did they have? Who else survived? Inquiring minds want to know.

I'm so glad that you finished your story.  I've really enjoyed reading it.  I just wonder what Inuyasha's reaction will be when he finds out that Kagome and Sesshoumaru are together?  I hope that he learns to regret what he foolishly threw away!  Great story!
