omg! suuuuch a good chapter!!

Yay! Finally we get to the good part! I cant believe it took 50 chapters for the birth of Kiyoshi but at the same time i can understand why. I mean we had to see some sort of development happening between Kagome and Sesshoumaru right? I thik that the feelings that had developed between Kagome and Sesshoumaru will help bring them together during the raising of Kiyoshi. Its going to be interesting to see how they are going to share Kiyoshi and who is going to train him since he is a miko. Thanks for this awesome chapter and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE UPDATE SOON!!!

YAYAYAYA! I loved this chapter every bit of it! Oooooooh such a happy family image but he still sees her so far out of reach! its so beautiful and sad and i love it! BRING ON THE NEXT CHAPTER :D

Poor Kagome!  I can just imagine how miserable she feels, your description was so vivid.  Your account of what Sesshomaru did to the three kidnappers was also vivid, though vivid is not a strong enough word for it.  I didn't know you had it in you to write something so gruesome!  You really went into effective detail on how he used acid on the female kidnapper, or ripped out the guts of the male.  I thought the way you described the last conversation of the male kidnapper, when he called Kagome a whore, was very effective.  This story is really gripping, and you continue to amaze me with your quick and constant growth as a writer.

OMG it's BABY TIME!!!!!!!!!  *Does a crazy stupid happy dance all over the place and looks like a total idiot while doing it*  Kiyoshi is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Okay now that I've gotten that out of my system I can review.  I'm not sure if I told you in my email yesterday but I freaking love you!!!  I feel like such an ass because I haven't reviewed in forever.  This chapter was probably the most amazing chapter that you have written so far.  When you said it was 7700 words I wasn't sure what to expect but you did not disappoint one little bit.

I have to say I was totally expecting Kagome to go all nuts and start shouting at Sesshoumaru lol!  I would have.  And there would have been nothing he could do except for sit there and take it because he knows it is totally his fault.  It was so adorable when she started tracing his face with her hands even though she had no idea why she did it.  It really was a touching moment and I think another step in the right direction for her.

I actually laughed at my desk when Sesshoumaru basically told Kouga to get out of the room because he wasn't really invited to the private family moment.  I could definitely see him doing just that.  I'm so glad he got to exact revenge on the people who kidnapped Kagome.  I was worried for a minute that Kouga was going to be the one who got that pleasure but I'm glad that Sesshoumaru was the one.  He deserved to do it because of what they did to his mate and his son and it would have felt wrong for anyone else.  Boy that leader certainly was delusional.  Trying to convince Sesshoumaru to join him after everything that he did.  I was also surprised that he thought of Inuyasha in the moment when he killed the second kidnapper.  I'm glad to see that he does feel some sort of remorse for what he did even though they weren't close.  He knows now that despite the fact that Inuyasha was challenging him for Kagome, and that it was a fight to the death, it never should have happened the way it did.  Perhaps someday he can make peace with that and maybe even apologize to Kagome for it.

I was a little worried that Sesshou wouldn't make it back to the room in time before Kagome was finished and I'm so glad he did.  No father wants to miss the birth of any of their children let alone the first.  I was surprised to see that he was still aprehensive about contact with Kagome even though it is obvious he and the beast are merging.  The other half of himself never shy's away from contact with her so I'm thinking that the two of them will be at odd with one another for a little while longer.  I laughed so freaking hard when Kagome told him to come sit behind her.  He was all "oh I"m not sure if I should" in his head and basically she was like "Shut up and get your ass over here." haha brilliant!! And then baby makes 3....

OMG so Kiyoshi is human???? Holy cow I was so not expecting that.  So he has the markings of his father and the powers of his mother but he's a human.  Oh he's going to be one special little baby I know it.  I can't wait for the first time that Sesshou actually holds him I'm probably going to get all teary eyed and stuff.  Hopefully now that their son is alive and in the world the two of them can work on eachother.  They both feel it they just don't want to admit it and I can't wait until they do!!

OMG!! This is so exciting!! The baby is coming and I'm so curious about what is he... It was a great idea to have a resigned Kouga spicing things up a bit. I have always loved that wolf as he can be a great friend but they didn't gave him so much credit in the real story. I really liked Sesshoumaru's talk with his beast and it is great that they are becoming one again, i like how u are developing that situation.  Great fic!! I just love it!!  And please, don't listen to stupid ppl who only try to hurry you by making you feel bad. Writting a good fic is not an easy task, we know you have a life and it also depends on inspiration and having fun.  You are doing great and I really appreciate that you usually update so fast :) Thanks a lot!!

This story is absolutely fantastic! I can't wait to read the next chapter after each chapter I read. You really have built a great story. I love how you have slowly evolved Kagome and Sesshomaru's relationship, it's a refreshing take instead of the abrupt "love". Keep up the good work and I can't wait to read on!

There was so much changing in this chapter that you clearly left sort of a map to it.  From the changing comfort level she was having around him with mere touches and looks to his more attentive behaviour around her and his inner thoughts.

His inner monologue on "how to be a father" was pretty good.  He has thought about this for a very long time (heck, he had like centuries to do it) and yet he still can not fathom what being a good father would be.  We all tell ourselves to follow the lead of what our own parents or guardians have done.  Yet, he did not have this luxury.  So how would he know what he was doing was right.  I appreciate the difference you put in there between raising Rin and his own pup.  Because there is a VAST difference.  Granted he cared for Rin as he thought an alpha of a pack should and managed well in that time.  But with Kiyoshi, and no longer living in his era, the feudal era, there will be much to sacrifice between instinct and modern day growth & well -being.  Way to point that out!!

When the idea of bringing the Beast around popped up I originally went..."ah  s*&t!!" but in a good way! Kinda!  lol  It was obvious that he was needed, but there was always the what ifs.  What if he didn't like being pulled away and wanted answers from Kagome?  What if he really did try to pull something knowing he wouldn't be there for long?  But even so, it was wise to release him.  I was kinda shocked of his first reaction too.  He seemed a bit Sesshomaru-like for a moment.  But what really made him more Sesshomaru-like was his instant worry for her and Kiyoshi.  Yay for that!  His interaction with her voiced longing for her so extremely.  The way he caressed her and moved slowly over her skin.  He wanted her sooo bad.  Goodness!  But he kept that in check so 1 point for the Beast!  Although I really REALLY liked the way you wrote his kiss with her and how he wanted in every fiber of his being to not be pulled away.  The way you wrote his action of the way he "struggled" with the bedding to let him savor her for just a little while longer....that was amazing!!  I could almost feel the pull myself. 

But what floored me the most is....SESSHOMARU KISSED HER...HIMSELF!!! Ohhh yeah.  You can't hide it Mister!!! You got caught!  I read it, it totally happened!! No givesies backsies!!!  Girl, that was so tender and unexpected.  I woulda been floored too by my actions if they came from seemingly outta no where!!
