This was really powerful. And very deep. Actually, I think that you portrayed Sesshoumaru very accurately; I think that he very well could behave in such a way. You made both Sesshoumaru and Kagome very well-rounded. You did a good job. Don't changed the title, because, in this chapter, it is their hearts that are down in the gutter, awash in sorry, loss and grief. I think the title is still apt.

oh I liked this :3 Despite that it was less comidical the angstyness was done well. The imagery and subtle bits about Sesshoumaru's grief were well done too, makes the reader thin rather than laying it out for them. It's also interesting that you made the kirin the villian, implying that even holy beasts aren't immune to the corruption of the shikon. That was a nice touch. All in all, great! -MontiK p.s.
