This story begins with such a dark and forlorn atmosphere, though I have no doubt in my mind that the intensity of your story will only escalate as the chapters go on. Ooh. This is dark and riveting - and slightly terrifying too, but I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with it. The way you've phrased the note at the end has only made me more interested, especially the 'psychological' aspect.
