One thing I noticed when I started reading chapter 7 was how you have amazing patience as a writer, my dear! The pace is not rushed, and you actually guide the readers into the setting you've created with your words, allowing us to see it through Sesshoumaru's eyes. That's really nice, and I find myself liking it very much.

Finally we get to see what exactly had happened prior to Kagome discovering Sesshoumaru in the forest, and it definitely answers some questions I had. I was wondering if he had really helped the villagers out of his own will, but apparently, he was more motivated by blood lust than altruism. It's definitely more realistic this way, because charity really doesn't seem like Sesshoumaru's thing to do. Oooooh poor wolf. Honestly, did he really think he could take Sesshoumaru down?? LOL. Nice descriptions of the fight there! I like how everything played out.

Then the last line came.

Yes, she made him forget everything.

...Everything but her.

IS THAT ROMANTIC OR WHAT??! *hugggggs self* that was beautiful!

It is getting more and more obvious that sweet, lovely Kagome would one day be caught between demon-hating Ichirou and Sesshoumaru, and while I know it means good drama ahead, I can't help worrying for the poor girl. She's definitely not going to take to it too well, from the way she got so angry from hearing Ichirou's comments. But then again, if I were her, I'd definitely be mad at him as well. It's SESSHOUMARU we are talking about!

And VOILA! He turns up, and makes my senses go into overdrive and warns her of the dangers of others knowing she had befriended him. (FRIENDS!! YAY!) But the ending of this chapter made me sad again :X Ichirou is obviously not going to change his opinions of demons anytime soon, and it's just hurting Kagome, albeit indirectly.

OMG this ichirou guy had got to be the most racist guy on earth EVER!! 
I know he is nice to Kagome and all the other villagers, but his deep, 
unwavering prejudice makes him a...a PIG!! Arrrgh!! I want to jump in 
there and drag Kagome away from him as quickly as I can. LOL. And to 
Ichirou, well buddy, of course you are welcomed to go after Sesshy! 
It's no biggie; you'll only lose an arm, and at worst, die. *cackles*

I like the gradual buildup of characters in the story, and your 
writing is of a very good pace, midear!:)

Ehem, anyway... :P this chapter was good. I didn't think Ichirou would forgive her or anything. I don't know why, but I think he's going to be the main obstacle for Sessh and Kags' love life... Mmmm, well I can only wait and see! ^^

I hope Sesshoumaru was snooping around during that last moment there! lol I think it would've been an insightful moment for him there, especially answering his own question. I thoroughly enjoy the portrayal of Kagome and Sesshoumaru as well as the rest of the characters. :) It's new, for me at least, to see them this way and done so well. You have great skill! :) I can't wait for the upcoming chapters! :D

Oooooooh I lurrrrrve this chapter VERY VERY MUCH. LOL if this was Facebook, I'd have 'like'-d this chapter a thousand times! The haori scene was simply adorable, and totally made me go into fan-gasms AGAIN. I actually love it when he appears silently behind her; it's something so stalker-ish, yet Sesshoumaru can pull it off with style! Any lower being would have been classified as a stalker, but no, not great Fluffums. 

Kagome's really really cute; she can think of anything to make him stay, and that's sweet. I was wondering if Sesshoumaru might find her annoying, and sure enough, he did, but in a nice way. Then, just when i thought the fan-gasming was over, YOU BROUGHT THE HEARTBEAT SCENE IN. That's when I went into another fan-gasm fit and started squealing at my laptop screen. He is being romantic without being romantic (if I even make sense), and ARRRRRRGHH WHY AM I NOT KAGOME!!! THIS LUCKY GIRL.

The trust between them is building up, slowly but surely, and I am looking forward to MORE :)) Great job dear!!

oh no...I foresee a lot of problems with this Ichirou guy in future...he seems really nice and kind, but the bias he holds towards youkai is sooooo deep. LOL and he seems to like our pretty little Kagome, so I should start feeling sorry for him because Sesshoumaru is so obviously better than him in EVERY aspect.

Meanwhile, i like how you wrote Kagome's growing infatuation with Sesshoumaru, but at the same time, give your readers a taste of what is to come subsequently. First Ichirou, then Kikyo...Kagome is not going to have it easy. Great writing, my dear! I am loving this!

AHA!! Now she's thinking of him! Not that I am surprised, really. I haven't met him but I find myself thinking about golden eyes and silver hair pretty often. LOL.

I can see where this story is going, with Kagome being a human, her beloved sister being a miko and her soon-to-be lover being a youkai. It's the worst combination ever, and I can only try to imagine the heartache and drama which will come along in later chapters. I like how you make Kagome think about everything; sometimes, it is frustrating to read stories in which Kagome thinks about NOTHING BUT SESSHOUMARU. She ditches the entire world for him blah blah blah. I understand love is great and all but logic is definitely important as well, and I like how Kagome thinks not only for herself, for him, for Kikyo but also, for everyone in her life. it's sweet of her, and definitely realistic, making it enjoyable for the reader.

SESSHOUMARU SAVED THEM!! OMG HE IS SOOOO NICE. SEEEEE?? I always knew Fluffykins had a gooey marshmallow fudge center.

The part where Kagome almost drowned was almost creepy; your descriptions were so vivid, I thought I was drowning. LOL. Okay that was a bit of exaggeration, but I definitely started holding my breath. It's a good thing Sesshoumaru came by and saved her, and discovered that nasty little youkai.

Washing his haori is such a sweeeeeet gesture;) I'd wash his everything if I could.

I must have been either crazy or blind to not have read this story sooner, because now I am hooked. And it is only chapter one.

Kagome is sooooo adorable here, in a very natural, unpretentious way which makes her very likable. She's not some childish, naive girl who doesn't know of any dangers or whatsoever. She is aware that Sesshoumaru is a very powerful demon who could possibly destroy her in seconds, but nonetheless, she found a louder voice within her mind telling her to tend to his injuries. That defines the word 'sweet' in my book, and I am definitely waiting to see where it goes! I almost groaned in disappointment when Kikyo found her...honestly, Kikyo should never find her, and she can live with Sesshoumaru happily ever after. Alright, yes, wishful thinking, but a girl can always dream, no? ;)

Ugh, I love this story so much, even though this chapter had a lot of ichirou and Kaggers action, it was still a beautiful, emotional roller coaster ride... Love it, keep on writing! And thanks for the update!
