This is a fantastic story. I like that there is conflict and not everything is all roses. Gives a more realistic side.
I'm glad to see Inu start to stand up for himself and not let his wife and son rule his life, that he wants to start anew. Perhaps a certain female living on a shrine?? Puleeese! Like it's not obvious Inu has so much respect for Sakura! He asks for her opinion, and while she doesn't tell him what to do, she gives her own life experience as an example. And he shows up unannounced and she always welcomes him.
Ah, but this story is about Sesshomaru and Kagome, right? I love the binding ceremonies and that Suikotsu is included. I'm hoping that it will help him to be a protective and loving older brother and that he will able to eventually grow out of his insecurity regarding his father.
I hope life isn't giving you too much trouble and really look forward to when you'll be able to update this story once again. I've really enjoyed your works and hope to see more in the near future.

Sweet, maybe Suikotsu will get over his phobia if he participates in the bonding ceremonies... better late than never.
As for Inu-papa, he should retire from his title and hand it over to Sesshoumaru. He may be a good business man, but as alpha male he fails, and is lucky that Sesshoumaru allows him into his children's lives, after he made such a mess of their relationship.
Since he seems to need a mate to guide him, he should pay off Izayoi and find one that is more loving and less greedy in order to keep himself out of trouble. Izayoi can be a rich divorced socialite with the mansion and a pile of money. And give Inuyasha some successful companies to either keep successful or run into the ground.
I guess Inu-papa could retire to the shrine with Kagome's mom and live a quiet life of doting grandpa... is that too weird? Not sure he deserves such a nice solution, but maybe Kagome's mom deserves a nice man and financial stability. And she can keep him from making any more stupid decisions in regards to family matters.
Would love to see the next chapter, such an original plot!

I love this story. It is AWESOME. Please update soon and I hope you put Inu and Kagomes mom together. I think that they would make a great couple. Then the pack would really be complete. Like I said, please update soon I love it. Thanks.

| Aw poor kagome. She's really going through a lot trying to understand the dog demon ways and to make things easier for her mate and son. She's really accepted a lot like not being able to understand her little boy, realizing her son has separation anxiety over his father - I know it's a missing er prenatal bond thing but still.....this has been rough on her and she's been a trooper. The only thing that makes me sad is that it seems her son doesn't love his mother as much as he loves his dad. Seems he could care less if kagome went on vacation without him but if sesshoumaru leaves him for 5 minutes- baby is ready to die. Kagome's been great about not feeling jealous or less important and trying to be understanding but lordy- she went through all the pain of carrying him while he caused her a lot of internal pain and.birthing him and being a stay at home mom ( a thankless job with no pay or vacation time or sick days) who had to learn how to raise a demon child AND understand her demon husband's ways.not to mention she's going through another pregnancy with lovely hormonal and physical changes.
That little pup should show more appreciation for his mama! Protect and cherish her just like she does for him...she is the alpha female after all.
Great story, I am enjoying reading it!!!! Please don't stop updating it.

Nice chapter, I liked the bonding part very much. The little family seems to finally find some peace together. It´s weird that Inu would want to have a relationship so soon. Why doesn´t he enjoy his single life a bit more and he isn´t really alone, Kagome´s family is now his own, too.
I have to say that I hope you won´t pair him up with Kagome´s mother. I think the romance in fics is highly overrated. True friendship and bonds are always in the background but actually I find them more important than the romance. Don´t get me wrong, I love a well written romance but that´s what nearly all fanfics are all about and it gets old pretty fast. No one writes about family, friendship and belonging beyond the simple kind of romantic love and that´s sad.
This is amazing! I don't know how I've overlooked it so many times. I feel like such a ninny, lol. But please update soon. I can't wait to read more!
Inu's description of his perfect woman fits Mrs. H. to the T. I'd love it if those two got together because they seem to be made for each other. They seem to understand each other and are comfortable in each other's presence.

Thank you much for a new chapter. This has been one of my favorite stories for such a long time and it is so nice to see it continued. Are we perhaps going to see a romance between the two grandparents now? They seem to be good together and then Kagome would have her mother with her instead of out living her too. Good for everyone. Can't wait to see the shit hit the fan with Izayoi, Inuyasha, and Kikyou though.
Sweet I was so excited to see another chapter had been put up! Great job and i just loved the family bonding time, also GO INU!!! You deserve to be happy!!! Though i can't imagine it's going to go over all that well knowing Inuyasha, Kikyou, and Izayoi... think it's to much to hope that they'll be smart about it and just leave quietly?? Also.., what about psycho Koga... I really hope he gets his butt kicked soon for being dumb.

I love Suikotsu, he is so cute and he reminds me of my two-year old nephew who has to be the nicest and cutest boy in the world. I´m glad Inu is finally trying to fix his situation but I also hope that you won´t pair him with Kagome´s mother. It would be weird if these two would be in a romantical relationship, they work as close friends, confidants and extended family better.
