The scene at the beginning had me laughing my... I would say socks off but that doesn't correctly describe the intensity.

Somehow after months, and even years, I come back to your stories and still feel everything like it's new again. It doesn't even matter that I know endings and twists and major plot points. My heart still sinks and soars, and I still hope beyond hope that somehow, something might have changed so that the characters might have gotten what they wanted more easily, with a little less heart ache.

The characterizations are amazingly accurate, which is a rare and welcome treat from the multitude of otherwise written fics. You can be assured that I will read everything else you have written on this site and still crave more.

You should add the chapter from The Cricket's Cage to this one. It's a great chapter and seems a little out of place in the collection of one shots. When I read it there I thought "This would make a great story" and kept reading thinking it would be one comprehensive story, but nothing else made sense. If you make it the first chapter for this story everything would flow properly.

First impressions are everything.

This is the first fanfiction I have read from your collection and, I must say, it is far from great, it is amazing. The story had impeccably smooth transitions between the jumps you made in the plot. The dialogue is also very cleverly versed.

I loved your portrayal of Kagome. Your portrayal of her is how I had sought her out to be in all the fanifictions I read. You did rather nicely with Sesshomaru, as well. Revealing his soft side made him immensely more attractive.  You did a splendid job.

I  JUST LOVE THIS STORY I STUCK WITH IT FROM BEGING TO FINISH.....WHY DID YOU JUMP THE PART OF HER MOVING AND DILIVERING THE BABY.

This was such a beautiful story and I loved how it ended. Sesshomaru is still Sesshomaru but his softer side is amazing. Thankyou for writing this.

this story has been an absolute delight to follow along with.  i can't believe i missed it until now.  i'm saddened that it has come to an end, but what a wonderful way to end it!  everything you write is pure gold, even with your muse on vacation. =)  thanks for putting this piece together.  it's definitely one of the best ones i've read of sess and kags in modern times together.

Thank you for an absolutely beautiful ending to your wonderful story!  I have really enjoyed reading it!  It was worth the wait!  You paint such a wonderful picture of Kagome and Sesshoumaru coming together, of them falling in love.  This is really an incredible fanfic!

This story is so sad.  I know I shouldn't feel this way, but I feel sorry for Sesshoumaru because he might have to give up everything that he has worked so hard for.  He feels that his wealth is the only thing he has to offer Kagome, when he doesn't seem to realize that Kagome loves him.  I'm proud of Kagome's mom for not stopping her life to make things easier on him.  This is Kagome and Sesshoumaru's "problem" and they are the ones who need to deal with it.  Not that their baby is a problem.  Hope you can post the last chapter soon!

i realy want to continue reading...i really love this story...i hope the two finally understand what they have with each other...

the first love is always something special, but you always think it's the best and deepest feeling you could ever have for someone...i like to call it a romantic idealization, cause you really have some kind of utopic fantasy of a happy ever after without any kind of everyday problems or arguing and the thought that he is the one and only (just because he is your first love and you cannot imagine something more "right" than to be with him forever) C: sometimes your first love is the right for you, but most times he is not, and there's nothing bad about it...

maybe kagome and sesshoumaru will realize that they found what they looked for in their first loves all along...and that you cannot know if they would have gotten the same with rin and inuyasha...after all the both of them kinda seem to be made for each other...maybe they'll come to realize that this is the way it was meant to be all along C:

Another wonderful chapter.  I simply adore the husband and wife dynamic.

Sesshoumaru and Kagome's relationship is so sweet.  I love the fact that they are getting along well together now.  I'm also so excited that Kagome is pregnant.  I like the thought of a little baby Sesshoumaru/Kagome.  Thanks for the update!

So I have been holding off on reading this until it's done, but I could hold off no longer today. I am absolutely enthralled with the story line. You have captured their characterizations well, and written Sesshoumaru in such a way that the changes within him are believable and plausible. I am thoroughly ensnared in this story and pouted just a little when i realized I reached the end of chapter seven.

So, now you have to bear with me as I pester you for more :P
