It's clear that Izayoi and Kikyo are not going to get along for a long time, if at all. Inuyasha and Toga would end up with migraines about the situation, especially the hanyou with the coming new moon. Everyone else would definitely be happy for the Lord and newly made Lady of the West, especially Hatsumomo and the rest of the Higurashi family. I swear Inuyasha really needs a sense of direction in life or else he'll end up in college for the next decade (I should know. I actually knew someone who finally graduated from my college after changing his major SIX times). Maybe he should hook Kikyo up with a clerical job where she ends up filing or making copies, teach what the real world is like, spoiled brat. Kagome can't help the way she is. She has a 'hunger' for knowledge and works hard to get to where she is. Her sister should take notes; HARD WORK PAYS OFF! As for Izayoi, she has the nerve to call her new daughter in law a home wrecker. Kikyo isn't really that. Inuyasha wasn't married nor mated to Kagome. Kagome would have kicked him to the curb at any moment. I could just see it now; a double wedding for Sesshomaru and Kagome as well as Miroku and Sango. As for the mysterious figure, she needs to understand that Kagome is not the one to mess with. There's really no replacement good enough to take over the reins as Head Miko of Japan. THat's just my opinion. I can't wait to see the reactions of the Higurashi family, outside of Souta since he's thrilled about Kagome's mate. But I also want to see their reactions when they find Kikyo's basically stuck with Inuyasha. THose two have more in common than they realize. Even though it's basically them against the rest of the world, I hope they find some kind of happiness, even though Kagome and the rest of the power posse want nothing to do with them. Tee hee!!!!! Yes, this is the umpteenth time I've read all ten chapters. Can't help it. I'm addicted to it.

Good chapter! I want another one, like NOW!! Whoa -- guess I better halt the caffeine intake. I thoroughly enjoyed the quick transitions and snippits of life amongst the characters as they all react to the events of the past few nights. It's interesting that the grandfather seems to think that Kags and Kikyo must learn to work together -- right now, I don't see how that will be possible; you seem to have painted yourself into a slight corner with regard to how both siblings react to one another, and how they seek to sabotage each other. I'd like to see more into the conflict between the two sisters, though -- not the simple "she ruined the prom, she slapped me" type of superficial sisterly bs that happens. It would be interesting if it could befurther juxtaposed against the relationship between Sess and Inuyasha. I know you did this in earlier chapters, but now that they are all mated to the wrong/right people; the discussion could get more in depth (especially with the other miko's trying to come after Kagome). Anyway, sorry for the long review -- it's a great story, really that I wish would be updated quicker. Speaking of which, when will "A Woman's Wrath" be updated?

Sesshomaru and Kagomes characters in this absolutely rock! There both strong, powerful, intellegent and awesome at what they do! And they soooo should have been together from the start!

I also love how you have the side story lines with Toga, Hatsumomo and Izayoi, i can see that being an interesting topic.

Also i think Inuyasha and Kikyo both deserved what they got! Can't wait to read what happens next!

What a delicious story. Sex, more sex, and sweet revenge. It all makes for a wonderful read. And what the hell did Inuyasha get himself into!? Mating without thinking, far too many of us do it. Wonderful story, I love it.

Wow, talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Izayoi calling Kikyo a homewrecker? Isn't that what SHE did with Toga and Hatsumomo? That's what Inuyasha gets for being stupid and selfish, as much as I hate seeing him with Kikyo. She really has nothing to offer him. While Kagome is in bliss and going through some 'changes' with Sesshomaru. It's good that she finally found happiness with him and I'm sure her new mother-in-law will like her, despite her being human. Toga and Izayoi do, yet no one seems to like Kikyo. She has nothing compared to Kagome. You can't really call her a true miko, even though she is a Higurashi. I can't wait for the next chapter. I see chaos on the horizon for the poor clueless hanyou and his 'mate' and bliss for everyone else. ^_^

i adored chapter 9 i think you really filled us in on the other character's lives seeing as they are going to be in the story more and more, and the fact of the little short story line that you set up for hatsumomo and toga, and the fact they still want eachother is genius, i hope you continue soon

I think this is my favorite story from you so far. I like how you give at least 2 points of view on everything and show how different they can be. I loved this chapter because of the Toga Inu confontation. I can hardly wait till Sesshy shows off Kagome to everyone and Inu and Kikyo have to deal with it. Post soon!!!
