What a cool start.  I love the idea of Kagome having her own business and hope to see that be built upon.  I think the predicament with Shipppu is also interesting.  Not many dabble too deeply with his character so its refreshing.  I can't wait for the interaction with the elder;

Oh, wow, this sounds like FUN! Just my kind of story these days too... I love the ones that let me drift into InuYasha-land and forget that I'm stressing over packing & out of town memorials & 4th of July family stuff. Can't wait to see where this goes from here!
