Geez, your writing is so good, I'm always caught off guard when I can hear the character voices in my head in time with the text. "So it's you... why have you come, Jaken?" With Sess's gentle baritone, gah! I love love looved this chapter. An insecure Sess catching feelings is just too f'ing good, and his paltry attempt at "casual" is just gold. Plus I Stan a confident and powerful Kagome! Now I'm worried alongside Sess. It's always scary when someone says those words "we need to talk" Poor Sess is gonna need his anti anxiety meds!

I really like this story! Good use of the carriage, I've never seen it used in fanficiton outside depicting the seen it appears in the anime.
