Wow, that was indeed a roller-coaster of events if I do say so myself.   I'm glad that Shippo did stay with Kagome, she's going to need a lot of support.  Strangely how the chapters are presented so far in a way reminds of the games 'Jax and Dexter', the second and third games anyway.  (Look them up on YouTube when you get the chance.) 

Wow its been a while since this was updated...  Sad Kagome listened to him.  I'd take the necklace and sword then give Jaken the middle finger telling him if Sesshomaru wanted either of them he had to come find her since she was rudely told to leave.  I didn't like the last chapter she had no backbone.  Sorry.

Holy geez... Once again, I'm captivated!! While I do look forward to the next chapter of your other stories, I understand writer's block. That being said, I gotta know what happens next here, too! I'm curious if there will be flashbacks to what happened, but I'm not too sure I wanna know... Whatever story you update, I do look forward to the next chapter!
