Great story, I was an epileptic until I had to have surgery. Having clinic tonic seizures.
Best wishes for your little brother from someone who's been there.
Oh I loved this! Not only you put my favorite headcanon of Sesshomaru and Kagome friendship, but you also included so much useful information in an organic way, respecting the plot and and characters (all Rin's interventions were were spot on).
This is awesome, I can't wait to read more from you
(Sorry for the broken english, it's my second language)

This was so beautifully written and informative! Thank you for sharing this with us <3!!!!
I had a whole review written out but I think Dokgua ate it! :(
I was crazy excited to see your name pop up since I love your writing. I have a few or your stories saved that I would read when I didn't have internet! I'm glad to see you back :)
I love that you play with topics that generally aren't approached in fic, especially things like illness. It's not something you see every day. I would have never even thought of the idea of anything like epilepsy in demons. It's refreshing to see something out of the ordinary.
I related so hard to Kagome having to separate herself from the situation to handle the situation. I've had to do that myself when it came to medical emergencies with my own family so it hit me right in the feels. She handles it all with such grace. Your Kagome would make such a great nurse - she has all of the best qualities, compassion being the biggest.

Clear, concise and professional. Reading a fic of a person who knows what she is writing is amazing. I was not even dettered by the medical terms. Even though sometimes I had to squint and read twice. My studies in Latin and biology definitely came in handy. Also my knowledge from history, including Caesar's example. I must admit at first I thought it was PSTD until other details were added.
I thank you for this pleasant reading! Your fics are amazing, even if you took such a long pause from fanfiction, its like you haven't even left. I really felt their closeness, they felt like family and I absolutely love a mature and steady Kagome who respects privacy! What a refreshing Kagome! IT made me want to return to writing my fics.
I always reread your fanfiction when I need something of quality. So thank you! Hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy.
Take care of yourself and thx for spoiling us with another great fic!
Okay!! OMG! I didn't recognize you but I did your writing! Embrace the Silence is one of my top of the top faves. Went to re-read it after Lightning on the Brain and I found you!! LOL! You are fantastic!!! I'm in ove your stuff!! Love Lightning and of course welcome back!
PS. I like a vulnurable Sesshomaru too!
Neelixonee (Chapter 1) - Fri 08 May 2020
I have friends and family who have epilepsy. What a good way to bring awareness abd really build a reality within a story. Thank you.
First of all, thank you so much for coming back and sharing your incredible talent! This hits home for me in so many ways. It's touching, educational, sweet, and a little silly. Kagome and Sesshomaru both demonstrate a grace under pressure that I feel is so unique to your writing. It's thoughtful and deliberate. Sometimes the ties that bind us aren't always pleasant. I also loved Kagome's approach to confidentiality. Your writing is always filled with the wonderful little details that bring the stories to vibrant life. Life is challenging, especially these days, so I'm so grateful you took some time to come back to the fandom! I wish you and your family all the best, and look forward to the next time you get the urge to write!
Nile (Chapter 1) - Thu 07 May 2020
As always, I've enjoyed your fanfics. You've always been very thorough. It was great to see another piece by you, and I'm sure a lot of people will know more about it.
Your stories are not only entertaining, but supremely informative and understandable. I really enjoyed this and how you wove the genetic inheritance into this, too. Thank you for sharing your gift of writing and knowledge.
I left a book over on AO3, so I will spare you the novel here. But I wanted to leave a comment here as well because I want people to read this so bad. It's hard to effectively and enjoyable mash education and fandom together, but this fic (as does your other works) does this perfectly. The fic has so many sweet, real life moments that many people don't get to see or experience. But it's a reality for so many. So often in fanfic, characters are just strong, virile, untouchable, and perfect. This shows a more poignant, and really I feel more accurate, reality. Everyone has struggles, and it wouldn't be any less true for the characters we love.
I'm still giggling over Rin and Jaken in this fic. And I love how you write a professional and capable Kagome. Vulnerable Sesshoumaru is another favorite of mine, and you do it so well. But what I also really like about the way you write his vulnerability is how you also show other facets of him with in that. Like him being smart. How he quickly caught on and grasped what Kagome was explaining was so great in showing that.
Very realistic, very sweet, and a great read. Life is so, so busy, but I do hope we get to see more from you in the future! You know I love your work!
And best wishes to your brother and family from another who deals with the seizure monster too. <3
