I don't know why I've not read this gem of a story before but I will let you know I started in the morning out of curiosity and have spent the whole day catching up to the latest chapter. I could not hold myself from savoring every sentence and every emotion evoked through the development of their bond. It almost had a transcendent feeling to it, a magical illusiveness we all crave in our lives perhaps ? 

Having read your A/N, I am glad you did not discontinue writing this fic. I'm amazed, starstruck, mesmerized by every chapter I read.

Its beautifully written. I want to thank you for writing this and sharing this. This is certainly going to be one of my all-time favorites I will be revisiting over years.   

I hope you've recovered your health and wish you well. 

The amount of patience you've exhibited in character development is unique and its reflected in the pace of the fic. Its phenomenal and a real gift you have there. 

Going back to the story; 

Theres a forboding element thats been lurking in the background for the past 100 chapters, it got stronger when the future Sesshomaru went to peek at the well while ill Kagome is resting.

And there seems to be some strange code word communication taking place between future Sesshomaru and past Sesshomaru almost as if the older version is reassuring the past him but in what regard ? 

And you did not mention what the book is about which future Kagome finds near the graves looking for future Sesshomaru. Theres tea and a book left open near the graves. 

Sigh ...I love this story. So glad to see your post. Have your ears been burning? LOL! 

That was wonderful! The joy and sadness of this story just gets to me.

These little interactions are so beautiful. I love the bickering back and forth. They are found family. The family we make for ourselves everywhere we go. 

So glad to have you back. It's been crazy time at our house but now I have time to catch up. It's Fall, it's beautiful here in NW Louisiana (for a change! It doesn't feel like the "Hell mouth" of Buffy!). And now I have all your beautiful chapters to read and savor. They are each such beautiful little gems. Poor Inu, it's hard for him to understand.
