I love this story. I've reread it numerous times and it makes me laugh, eat all the popcorn, and takes me into the story every time. The way it progresses is so smooth. I appreciate the pace you have with the story line. I love and appreciate your grasp of the characters motivations and dialog. I enjoyed the battle. I personally enjoy when characters dance dangerously close to death for the dramatic feels. So even though that didn't happen with Kagome or Sesshomaru, I was reader appeased with Kikyo's demise;it was sweet. Quite addicted to this story you've created and nothing about it is disappointing. You are a gifted author. Love your writing style. When life gets overwhelming, remember it gives you only what you can handle, so it must think you're a badass. Do what you gotta do, when you gotta do it. You said you won't give up on the story so I believe you. We are a warriors pushing through each day, I get it. You got this! I'm cheering you on, just like all your other addicted/devoted readers :)

I so loved this update!! I've seen a lot of stories where Midoriko turns out to be a horrible person and I was afraid this would be the same. It was a lovely change of pace for her to be a warm, kind presence. 

of course, as good as this chapter was, I'm dying if anticipation about the next one! >:) So much lemony goodness awaits! I've been using fics as my breaks between the constant mask sewing (400 or so made to date!) and I'll definitely be enjoying my break when you next update. ??

I have to say, I'm not usually a fan of the simple present tense style of writing, and the switch from past to present style in this chapter threw me for a beat. But once I adjusted to the change I actually REALLY liked it for this particular stage in this story. It really helped to me to feel like I was there for the battle. I also think the switch makes this battle scene stand out more, emphasizing it's important role in the story. Again, I'm not usually a fan of this writing style in general. But used appropriately I think it can definitely enhance the writers story. This was very well done. ????????????

"the mental image of his miko kissing some stranger simply because a plant decreed it be done was absurd to the highest degree. If anyone was to partake in such a tradition with his miko it should be him…" Hahaha! I love this part. 

Haha! I love it when Sesshomaru beats Koga up in a jealous fit. Frankly, they're my favorite fight pairing considering how reckless and yet persistent Koga is, combined with how jealous Sesshomaru is. Always makes for a great scene. 

Kick his ass sess/kag!!! I always liked the idea of Hojo being a real p.o.s. Frankly, he always struck me as being a little 'off.' Like he's sweet, but in a superficial 'I'm secretly a psychopathic stalker' sort of way. Lolol

Ahhh the cultural gap between human and youkai is a vast one indeed. Lol
