Wow!  I love this story so far!  You did a wonderful job portraying Sess and Kagome's characters. At first I thought this was a gentler, more vulnerable Sess but realized it's that he has a soft spot for Kagome.  You can see his tendency to violence and aggressiveness with everyone but her.  Kagome is of course her brave, emotional, headstrong, klutzy, peaceful, and loving self. I have fallen in love with them both!  I love the storyline and I have also fallen in love with this utopian village Koushi where humans, hanyou and youkai all live in peace together.  I am intrigued with the dire warning and the seal that has been placed on Kagome's powers. Beautiful job so far!  I can't wait to read more!

Interesting chapter. I usually dislike super powerful villains that are so strong that no one can defeat them. And the fact that they are strong without logic or reason. That's why I hope you will explain why this one is so strong and how can he read minds. Everything seems too easy for him. I am not trying to be rude. I loved the chapter, its just I keep wondering how is that he is so strong and no one knew about him until now. I love your description and I love the interaction between characters.

Thanks for the update, I really like this story. I'm really curious on what the seal on Kagome was, does it had anything to do with those things they were collecting? Talking about those things they were collecting, the third stone that hold the power of balance sounds a lot like the Shikon No Tama.

 I really love this story. Sesshoumaru is slowly falling in love with Kagome.

I have to agree with reviewer Nilee1...Sesshomaru is angry because she rejected him as a potential love interest for why else would he be that angry in the first place?  He has been protesting and denying his feelings for Kagome for so long now that I guess when it was commented by the priest that he thought them to be together as a couple, I believe, Sesshomaru became embarressed and angered of being 'caught' so to speak.  

He does not want to and will not admit to anything concerning the words of the priest pertaining to the nature of his comment eluding to an intimate relationship with Kagome.  I think it's hilarious.  :)

Can hardly wait for another chapter to be posted.  Lol  :)

Absolutly loving this story! Your writing is lovely, and the character potrayal feels genuine to how they could be post-canon. This story feels like a plot they would come up with if they ever wanted pick up the series right where they left off ;). The legend about the Tears of the Gods is very interesting and carries the aura of mystery and magic that makes you think it could really be a part of the canon universe. The interaction between Sesshomaru and his mother was funny and was an awesome way to introduce the legend. I like how Sesshoumaru seems to have calmed since the defeat of Naraku, but his character potrayal is believable. He still has his overbearing arrogance and edge. Kagome‘s potrayal is awesome, too. Not too childish, not too “I am strong modern woman, hear me roar!”, and not the most perfect being ever to grace the earth where everyone worships her as if she is a goddess and can do no wrong (insert annoyed sigh here). She has matured, but still has her insecurities and teenage moments that make her relatable and endearing.

All in all, I am very interested in this story, especially after reading again from the beginning. I’m curious to see how the plot develops when they meet the Order, how they will address Kagome’s issue of not being able to wield her powers at will. And I’m really looking forward to the relationship developing between our favourite couple! It seems that Sesshoumau has had some feelings for her developing for some time. I’m curious as to how he will handle it when he realizes it, and how Kagome will handle it, as she is still devoted to Inuyasha. Though...are they mating because they really do love each other and are picking up where they left off...or are they unconsiously continuing an old habit? So will Kagome start to fall for Sesshomaru, or will she still only see him as her brother-in-law, causing Sesshomaru to have to try to win her affections over with subtle courting ;)? Can’t wait to see them interact with each other and the dynamic between all three of them when feelings rear their head. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your next chapter :).

Very nice chapter. I am beginning to love this story of my one and only favorite pairing.  Sess/Kag...(forever)  :)

It seems like Sessho maybe subconsciously developing feelings for Kagome but I think that he has been thinking along those lines for quite awhile now.  I wonder how long it will take Kagome to start developing her feelings for him other than friendship. The question then would be what about Inuyasha and their upcoming mating ceremony.  Maybe something will happen like he falls in love for someone else that he may have met on his many trips to other villages or he gets himself killed, which I am not hoping for.  Him meeting someone else is the better option.

So many things can happen along the way that draw them closer together.  I have a feeling that they may not make it back to Edo for that ceremony.  I don't think that they will be able to complete their journey in four weeks time. They have already been gone for a week or so.

Will Sesshomaru ever tell Kagome what the true purpose of the trip and why he only wanted her for half of the balance of light?

Intense chapter with lots of info, musings and scenery. I enjoyed it. Now I am curious who is the youkai. And I love red hair. Is he some sort of elemental?
