For someone who hasn't read the manga or watched the show, I think you are doing a great job so far. Keep up the good work! 

I think it's a great idea!  I don't think she would just ease her attachment to her family that easily.  Besides, she always carried around a lot of stuff and reminders from her home, as well as keeping up with school.  It's like she was always preparing to go back, not to stay forever.  Looking forward to the story.
