Oh poor Kagome...girl, you gotta go. It's one thing to be supportive of someone going through a hard time especially if they're dealing with depression but it's a whole other thing to accept disrespect and to always put yourself last. This will be a tough lesson for her to learn.

Still loving this story and how real you make the characters. I wanna know more about what Sesshoumaru is up to and what's happening with the government's decision on revealing the existence of youkai. Will Kagome realize her research is right and that they do exist before the big secret is revealed to everyone? Will people ever really find out the truth about youkai? Will Shippo pop back up in her life? So many questions! lol! 

Is seems like InuYasha is pushing Kags away on purpose...is this simply due to his frame of mind? Or is it something else driving his actions, I wonder...

Aaarrgghh! I'm so frustrated for her! Big bro needs to come kick his bum! Hard! She continues to make it easy for him to do nothing but I also get she loves him. Right now though, it's all one-sided.

OMG I just... I would wanna be the voice of reason for Kagome. There's being supportive, but Inuyasha isn't even trying! WTF I'm so angry for her, poor girl... I can't wait for her to realize she deserves wayyyy better. Someone who will try to go above and beyond. 

Sigh, this is really going to be difficult for her to deal with. Her first really serious relationship and it's heading south fast! He is so wound up in his own feelings and needs he can't see beyond that to how it affects others around him.

Excellent chapter! Poor Kagome, it sucks to experience this but at least she finally got a response from InuYasha. Now, instead of being worried to death she can vent her rage. To be fair to Yasha, keeping track of time and staying in touch with people can seem like an impossible burden when you're depressed. Unfortunately, that's not a good excuse for him to treat Kags and his fam like that. 

I'm so curious about how in the world Kags will end up with Sesshoumaru...I'm guessing that it'll probably be quite the journey to get there. I hope Inu ends up ok despite how much of a jerkface he's being right now and that Kags isn't too scarred from this experience and realizes she deserves more than this.

I sure hope that turning off her phone is a turn for the better for her. I know her mom will have good advice. She always does. Wonder but sad update. 

Oh man hopefully Kagome gets off her butt and goes to spy with her little eyes on what Inu Yasha has been up too...  I bet once she finds him doing something that would break her heart she'll go collect her things shred all his clothes since she bought most of them soak the bed and couch in urine dog cat horse pig human whatever it takes break the dishes make a chocolate cake with poop in the center of the cake and put it in the refrigerator.  I would so do this if a man ever did what Inu Yasha had done.  Oh well now you know my crazy thoughts....  Update soon hopefully the chapters are a bit longer.....  Please...

I'm finding this story interesting and well written. Thank you for including the recap at the end. While I get that it's best to divide the assets, I'm not sure why he has to pay her because unless they had a prenup in place, shouldn't she be paying him for breaking the relationship by cheating? Also, your description of Inuyasha's depression was masterful. I can totally sympathize with him despite his horrible treatment of Kagome. It doesn't seem intentional but it does seem like he was cheating for awhile there. It's not really fair for him to be in a relationship with someone who doesn't know what he is but the stress of a pregnancy that could expose them vs having to lose a child by abortion is a definite gut punch. While it was a scare, I think it's hard for him because he may actually want kids with Kagome and having to suggest getting rid of it to keep his species secret....man oh man. Kagome I feel sorry for because she is doing her best to be supportive of him because she knows he is going through a rough patch and first love and all that. Despite being unhappy, she is definitely trying her best to make it work. I’m curious to see what the breaking point will be.
