I can't stop feeling bad for Inuyasha. That level of depression isn't good for anyone, I've been there before and it's... really hard to go out.

He's... not ok. He needs help, therapy, or something like that.

I'm glad you didn't write Sesshomaru's mother as a wimp and lush or a whiny female tired of those...  I like her divious humor and wit, her playful/trouble attitude and strength especially her cunning...  At least they are not yelling at each other and thats a good thing.  Wonder what she has in mind...

I'm sorry, but each update is just pissing me off right now lol I mean I'm really happy the story is progressing! In a sense lol Inuyasha is such an abusive asshat! Looking forward to Kagome growing a pair and kicking him to the curb. 

I'm hoping that with time away from Inuyasha, she'll realize how much he's been holding her back. She'll have the freedom to see her friends and do what she wants to do without feeling guilty! 

And I suspect Inuyasha will cheat on her again while he's in America.

Damn that was harsh and so selfish on his part who would want a grumpy person at her friends wedding. I'd say never mind leaving a day before to get where she needs to without having Mr. Grump tag along...  She needs to end the relationship before anything more happens.  Trigger warning be damned to selfishness.

Very nice update! A job for Kagome and some movement in the right direction for Yasha. Can't wait to see how her new job works out. 

I really hope he is serious about getting help. That is a huge step for him. I'm sure Kagome is relieved.  

I loved this humorous chapter. Great interaction between these two, I think we needed that. Yes, I think they could be tentative allies, even though Kouga makes him crazy! Looking forward to more about the revelation coming. How exciting would that be. Thanks so much.
