Ahhhh...you have got to feel for Miroku. He got left with the clean up. This is going to be hard for them all. Very nice update. Thank you!
I'm impressed with this plot. I haven't read any other with this idea before. It makes alot of sense when you think about it. This is a much better ending for InuYasha then having him betray Kagome to keep a dead version of Kikyou as his lover/mate. Somehow that one never sits well with me. What hot blooded guy would want to put his "precious sword" in a cold, dead "sheath"? I don't care that she looks and sounds like his once love...she isn't truly human or alive!
InuYasha is a lot of things, insensitive and brash, he heads forward into danger with no planning wielding his father's sword around with no training but he does love Kagome. I like that you're showing him in a mature manner and planning for her and Shippou's protection. I like how you made him suck up every ounce of hurt, anger and resentment toward Sesshoumaru just to assure she is safe. It takes a lot of guts to put aside one's differences like that for another. That's real and true love...to give your life for another is the greatest gift one can give...and essentially this is what InuYasha is doing for her and Shippou. He knows he's dying and he concedes that his brother is the greatest chance for Kagome's survival.
I'm curious as to how both Sesshoumaru and Kagome will handle this. It seems Sesshoumaru is already trying to say no by asking to send her back to her "villiage" and family. Did InuYasha know that he was dying when he mated/married Kagome? If they mated like Inu, did his life forse bond with hers and extend her life? or can she die when he does unless she can take a stronger mate and live on?
Oh my, sooo many questions.....
As far as how the length of the chapters go, I'm not one to enjoy drabbles. My internet is quite slow and I easily get bored waiting for such small chapters...if one can actually call them that at all. I think you should write as the mood and time constraints strikes you. This way you haven't had to keep up with a word count. If you only have time and plot enough for a drabble, do it and perhaps next time add more or make a lengthy one.
You are the writer and it's admirable for you to please your readers but you for the most part you need to write to be pleased with yourself and feel comfortable in the way you're putting it out.
So far, you have a fan here. I am awaiting more to come.

M.J. (Chapter 4) - Mon 04 Sep 2017
I like your story, keep writing at your pace, but do not forget us.
Very nice Update. Thanks so much. Perhaps you should not try to cram this story into a constricting model. Just write what you have time to write when you can. No matter the length, we will accept that most gratefully.

P. S. Sorry for the errors... My phone has a mind of its own, lol!
War (Chapter 4) - Sun 03 Sep 2017
While I don't normally review... I read on my phone & it's a pain in the ass, lol! I really wanted to leave a note.
I love house this is going. You managed to do an amazing job keeping the characters true to their expected personalities. That's really hard to do for some writers with all the ideas & different types of stories or there.
You asked how readers prefer to get updates... Well the simple answer is always, constantly, endlessly, & you're never allowed to stop! Lmao! That's not realty doable for anyone with a life though.
Honestly this recent update still feels, & reads, like a short chapter or a long drabble. I'm not sure if you were going for a long or short chapter. I know you mentioned that it was a test.
I can happily read long, short, or a mix. You can update whenever is convenient for you. I'll keep coming back with every email update I get. I think many readers would agree: Just write how it works for you. Forcing yourself to try new things is great, but if it makes it so you have trouble writing or end up writing something you're not happy with then you are just pushing yourself to hard. Writing only happens when you're inspired, so you don't have to worry so much about "when" or "how long/short", just write when you can & follow your muse.
If longer chapters are easier updating less often, then I'd say go for it. But if you want to stick to regular shorter chapters, there is no harm in doing so.
Either way, other readers & myself will keep reading.
Just know that what I've read so far is very good. Be proud! Keep up the great work, at a pace & work load you enjoy. Though if were really up to the readers (myself included) I'm sure a long chapter daily would be awesome (but a super challenge to do with real life getting in the way lol)!
Good luck, I hope you find your stride.

Oh my...that should be Naraku...not your name. Darn auto correct!
Oh my! Poor Yasha! I think this is a plausible idea for the story. Natalie was always stabbing that stuff into him, it's makes sense that it would start to affect him. He isn't a pure blood. I'm thinking he is didnt to admit to weakness so he held off. Now he has no choice and wants to protect his pack. Really nice update. Thanks so much.
While I prefer to only read stories with longer chapters, I'm going to give this a chance because I'm finding the idea very interesting. Having inuyasha dying because of the arrow I've never heard that idea before. Can't wait for the next chapter
Didn't see that coming...Wow! This is really an interesting start. Nice, looking forward to more.
Wow! Wonderful start! Can't wait to see where this goes. Thank you for your prayers for the gulf coast! They will need them all. I'm glad your sons surgery went well. I hope he is feeling better Soon. Yes, I guess those plot bunnies can be pretty persistent.
Oh no! Poor Inuyasha! Poor Kagome! What will happen once Inuyasha dies? Will Sessy have to take Kagome as a mate or just care for her like a pack member once Inuyasha is gone? Will Sesshomaru renounce Inuyasha's pack after his death? Can't wait to find out!!!
O.o wow. Keep it t good my sho the loads of the west is a good way to start and fix in my opinion
Great star would love it o see where you go with rhis
