I'm sorry if it seems like I'm seeking attention. But I give credit where it's due and I'm also big enough to apologize if I'm wrong. Trinity 3000 I want to retract the portion of my previous review regarding the letter. Initially reading it it did sound kind of rude to me but after reading it myself I realized that you were correct that it wasn't that bad. So for that I apologize. That being said, the rest of my review stands. Thank you for your time and I hope to continue readin,g this story along with you and the many other readers.
I want to address the comment that Trinity 3,000 made. Firstly, yeah she was lied to her whole life but based on what I'm reading Sesshomaru was not made aware of the stipulation of the treaty nor the soulmate determination as he disliked humans from the get go.
Secondly, he didn't lie to her because what he told her and the monk was technically true. He simply let them draw their own conclusions. The monks didn't need to know his true relationship with her if it would cause peace between the two factions. If you want to nit pick, he was the ONLY one WILLING to tell her the truth at that point and the only reason he didn't was because they got interrupted and then she stormed off repeating her mother's mistake. So the idiocy has spun full circle. Didn't he reveal his true self to her? He didn't have to do any of that.
I'm not saying she has no right to upset but she didn't know that he lied for sure. She had one version of the story from her father and ran with it. Emotions will run high for anyone under those circumstances but she just met him and he got more credibility than her own mother, whose motives she didn't know. So no, Sesshomaru was not being a jerk.
Also, to address your comment about the letter. Reread it and see if it was not rude from the point of view of a society that prides honor and respect. She is learning Japanese and though most people with no or limited knowledge of the culture would google something about the culture, she didn't before drafting the letter. Even with modern stereotypes of the culture, the basics, are that Asians pride respect and honor. You can't tell me she was raised on a shrine with a monk grandfather and not even know that much... I'm sorry but your case holds no weight.
Purple Rain (Chapter 32) - Thu 17 Jan 2019
Thank you for updating and I'm so proud of how you handled Sesshomaru's response to Kagome's words and actions. I really like that his response mirrors her mother's responses eerily. Too often she tends to get away with quite a lot of hypocritical Behavior and lashing out and he always has to take it in those other stories. This response feels more organic to his character. Thank you for keeping him in character by the way. I'm glad that they're not afraid to put her mistakes back up in her face so that she can actually take a look at it instead of taking her sweet time to come around to the conclusions that need to be addressed. I am a fan of Kagome but sometimes I wish that the relationship is of equal. Not just him putting up with her until she can behave or her doing the same for him. So again kudos on this story and I can't wait to see where you take this. Please keep up the good work

Orotami (Chapter 32) - Thu 17 Jan 2019
Damn Kagome. What a bitch move. He saves your ass and you snap! Ouch. This was painful to read.
I am really enjoying the story so far. My only worry is that Sesshomaru is going to swoop in like a white night to save the day and all is going to be forgiven.
So far, poor Kagome has really been given the short end of the stick. She was lied to he whole life. Then she gets a pen pal that is a jerk.(Her 1st letter was not that bad. His letter bumped things up to downright rude.) Although he was nice to her when she came to Japan, he was lying and using her for his own gain. While that was going on, her powers tied them together without her permission.
If he just shows up and all is forgiven and happily ever after, I will be disappointed. It would be so unfair. Why would she have to endure all the suffering and he just gets his way. I so hope you are going to put him through some of his own trials.
Thank you for continuing to post so often.

Oh misunderstandings!! I’m guessing all that her mother told her has her running like a scared rabbit! What will he do to win her over?
