What will happen next! I'm so intrigued!

WOW!! What a chapter! I have to admit that you are becoming one of my favorite writers, this chapter illustrates everything that I love in a story: It's original, well written, the plot and characters are developing in the most amazing ways, and I love the attention to detail that you use when writing.

Can I say that I am desperately, waiting for the next chapter? Oh god! Please update soon! I am becoming addicted!!

I made a mistake in my earlier review. Sorry about that...I meant to say I loved Charlotte Bronte's novel Jane Eyre and all her other novels. I must have been half asleep when I made that review. Lol.

This chapter was a little sad. I never could understand why Sessho would put Kagome and Rin in the position of being ridicule for his guests own amusement, just like the character in Jane Eyre (Mr. Rochester) did. That was so unnecessay and cruel on his part. What was it that he was trying to prove? It was like he was showing them off as pets because they were human. Or is he trying to ferret out the one that is duplicitous in the abduction of Rin. Who knows...it's just plain weird and underhanded on his part to expose Rin and Kagome like that.

Anyway nice writing in bringing out Kagome's true feelings and emotions. Love the story so far. Looking forward to more chapters.

im surprised Sesshoumaru did not spoke up for Rin.  I'm disappointed that he allowed them to demean and verbally abuse her.  Helpfully Kagome can show them a thing or two, human she may be but weakness does not belong in her character.  Please have her win a fight against Kagura or Ayame, if the need occurs.

How tragically sad! My heart breaks for run and for kagome. Will this be a long chapter storie I wonder or will it die out leaving me to fill in the blanks, hmmmm?? I wonder. I await the next chapter.....

I so remember the book Jane Eyre they made us read when i was high school. I was really interesting to me. Im really enjoying this story. Outs reacquainted he with the book. I like Kagomes character a little more then Janes from the book. She has a little more dimension to her. Can't wait for the next update.

Sesshomaru/Rochester is definitely longing for Kagome/Jane at this point. Even the household help noticed. 

The youki/reiki flirting scene was a nice touch there. I'm having the vapors. (Fanning self).

While it is a bit OOC for Sesshomaru to talk a lot or even smile, I don't mind because the story calls for it and that's how Rochester was in the book. You can't have a romance if the brooding hero just says, "Die human" or "Hnn".

It's nice to see a serious and powerful Kagome. And she's not even a youkai or weirdo hybrid. Kudos.

Since you are following the novel, am I right to assume that a certain woman will make an appearance much much later? 

To the reviewer who claimed to like Jane Eyre,  I think you meant Jane Austen. One of the Bronte sisters wrote "Jane Eyre".
