DawningPrecipice (Chapter 16) - Thu 21 May 2020

Thank you so much for writing this excellent work. I loved this take on Jane Eyre, it was very interesting to read your adaptation. You paid homage to both universes while still drawing from your own creativity to create an entirely new story.

I'm also very grateful that you were able to finish this work. I was sorry to read that you and your mother were going through major medical issues. I pray sincerely that you are both doing well and that you have come out of your ordeals even stronger than before. Your work has brought me great joy in this time which has been very trying for me also.

I do realize it's been a couple of years since you posted this, but I hope my words here are still relevant. You are a talented writer and I hope you can continue to express yourself in this way, be it publicly or privately. Again, I am thankful that you shared this wonderful story and persevered to bring it to it's conclusion.

Thank you!

DawningPrecipice (Chapter 3) - Tue 19 May 2020

Excellent chapter, once again! So glad I came across your story.

DawningPrecipice (Chapter 1) - Tue 19 May 2020

Absolutely amazing first chapter! I'm drawn in immediately and I can't wait to continue.

Mecca-chan (Chapter 16) - Sat 05 Oct 2019

I fell in love with this story from the first chapter! Thank you so much for sharing! It was refreshing to read a story from the first person account, in Kagome’s perspective no less.

Kayleigh (Chapter 10) - Wed 08 Aug 2018

I just want to tell you how beautiful this story is. I read so many sess/kag stories that I sometimes bore of the same scenario and what have you's. I usually end up only reading part of a story then stop and move on. Your story makes me want to read Jane Eyre. Keep it up and hope you are still into creating more masterpieces!

From an obsessed sess/kag fan since 2010..maybe earlier but details. hehehe

Corvus Draconis (Chapter 16) - Tue 24 Apr 2018

What a lovely story, and while a slow burn it was completely enjoyable and wonderful. I was glad that the story wasn't some ramp up to some possessive mating scene and sex, but true intimacy and understanding-- as love should be. It was satisfying, and I thank you for your story and sharing it with us.

333Tenshi (Chapter 16) - Thu 08 Mar 2018

This was a very nice story. What happened to Shippo? Did Sessh ever regrow his arm?

Sayuri (Chapter 16) - Sat 24 Feb 2018

I so love the way you wrote this story! I loved it till the end! I'm so happy they are finally together and Sesshoumaru is well and can see again! I was afraid he might not see ever again~ <3 <3 <3

Literary Fan (Chapter 16) - Fri 09 Feb 2018

Took me two days to read this beautiful story. Thank you for sharing and hope you are doing well.

Kailee (Chapter 1) - Mon 05 Feb 2018

You are an extremely talented writer. Something that is difficult to find in many fandoms. I have just finished reading both of your tales. The emotions you were able to tell of each charecter and the realism was wonderful, completely drawing me into the story. While i was left wanting more, the endings siuted these short stories well. Thank you

rini (Chapter 16) - Sun 04 Feb 2018

Hi, I really enjoyed reading " My second self". Generally I do not really like reading fanfictions written in first person for some reason- may be because originally they are not depicted in first person. Well anyway I took chance in reading this fanfic & didn't regret it. It was really well written & flowed so well. *thumbs up*

I'm guessing the plot of this fanfic was based on "Jane Eyer"?!!

kaoruhana (Chapter 16) - Sun 04 Feb 2018

OMG!  You are amazing!  Normally, I tend to get a little wary when I hear of some of my favorite English classics being reinterpreted for fanfiction.  But, you did an amazing job!  Sesshomaru as Rochester is absolutely perfect!  And the way you transferred Jane Eyre to an Inuyasha setting was just phenomenal.  I could not put the story down (though really, I  should have and instead spent the four hours typing notes instead).  Absolutely loved every minute of it and how the characters were beautifully developed within this setting.  I absolutely loved Jane Eyre when I was in high school (though Wuthtering Heights was my favorite), and am so glad I got to read a great version of it, that was a beautiful reinterpretation of the work.

I hope that health wise all is fine with you now, and that you continue to get better!  I can't wait to read more of your work if you ever post more!

KH :)

Mutnodjmet (Chapter 16) - Sat 03 Feb 2018

Awesome!!!

Very nice chapter and everything ended just as expected...a happy ending.

I kind of half way hoping that Kagome would not have hanyou pups but full demon pups because of her being as powerful as she was.

Doesn't matter anyway....it was all good.

I noticed that there were a couple of spelling errors and the mixup of the genders of Mayumi and Katsura.

One was a female and the other male but at one point they were both refered to as female and then back again...lol :)

Anyway, great story and very well written and I enjoyed reading it very much.

I hope you and your mom are doing well and feeling much better now.

Cheers to you and your mom!!!!

tonia (Chapter 16) - Sat 03 Feb 2018

That was just beautiful!  Thank you for writing such an awesome story.  I will look forward to your next work.

Cheyanna (Chapter 16) - Sat 03 Feb 2018

I loved it!!!!!! I‘m so happy!!!! That was a beautiful ending!:)

Ree-san (Chapter 1) - Sat 03 Feb 2018

I enjoyed the story overall, but still feel that Sesshomaru was the victim in this story. Whether it's having to deal with and clean up the mistakes of others, like that ass Inuyasha (who dared to accuse him of being dishonarable!) or having to deal with being the victim of Kikyo.  He didn't want Kikyo at all, but Kagome reacted like he did.  Like he was secretly plotting to make her his concubine as if that was all he saw her as.  It was the opposite, he was suffering because he could NOT mate her.  But, that didn't seem to matter to her.  Of course, I expected him to quickly forgive her and brush it aside as it usually goes.  However, she had the decency to accept responsiblity.  I guess.  I really liked her up until that point in the story, but she really let me down.  Instead of her seeing the situation for what it was, working to free him from the prison Kikyo built she instead accused him and left like a coward.  Perhaps my muted response is because it ended so quickly and I didn't have a chance to forgive her.  Don't know.  But, I think you're very talented and will be looking forward to future stories!

Eryn (Chapter 1) - Sat 03 Feb 2018

"planknof wood with a face painted on it..."

Instantly thought of Ed, Edd, and Eddy with "plank" as well as Angry Beavers with "stump"

Natalia (Chapter 16) - Sat 03 Feb 2018

beautiful and touching.

I knew his eyes will heal! it was perfect!

hope you are feeling well, take care of yourself!

hailey (Chapter 15) - Mon 30 Oct 2017

I've spent the last 2 days reading this story. It is by far, one if the best fanfics I have read in a very long time. I cannot wait to read more. I hope that I don't need to wait very long. Thank you so much for creating and Sharing this story with us!

ponpiri (Chapter 12) - Sat 09 Sep 2017
