This chapter was amazing and it excited me. It was very fortunate that Sesshomaru found her watched her come outof the ashes as a little cute chick. She is now with her chosen protector. By her description, she sounds beautiful. How tall was Kagome to begin with?
I am glad that shit for brains Inuyasha and his stinking corpse for a mate could not get what they wanted, I just hope they don't hurt Shippo thinking that he either has the shards or knows where they are. I believe that Sessho will retrive Shippo before they do something drastic to him.
I wonder what the gods have in store for Kagome and the jewel. She should be more powerful now. Kagome must not be Kikyo's reincarnation if she did not get her full soul back even after Kagome died or was her soul was pulled away before her burned to ashes.
This storyis getting better by each chapter. I wish they were a little longer (hint..hint) lol...but I now how RL is and I appreciate what you can give us anyway.

Wow, awesome start for the story. So will she speak now? Will sesshomaru be able to get shippou before Inuyasha and kikyou hurt him? Why are sango and miroku acting this way? A spell or some magic? Is the well still going to work for kagome? Where's kaede in this?

I really like your writing style. I liked how you started the story with the prologue because it caught my interest right away and it intrigued me to the point of wanting to read more. Setting up through flashbacks gave us the reason of what Kagome had to do in order to survive against Inuyasha and Kikyo's attitude and abuse toward herself and Shippo. It made me question her so called other friends nonchalant attitude toward her also. I am glad that she no longer has any romantic feelings toward Inuyasha and that it shows her maturity and critical thinking skills.
I love your story idea and plot. It is very well written and seems to have been well thought out. I am excited to read future updates to see where this story will take us. An excellent execution of the first two chapters.
This sounds like a good story so far. I'm curious to see what part the Phoenix plays in her life. Can't wait to see what happens next!
