I love that you decided to keep these short and sweet. Though long chapters are great too, when a writer decides to make each installment short snippets it also means that the writing does not get convoluted by too many unnecessary details, nor does it wander or go off track. Keeping them short, especially if you haven't written in a while, is a great way to stay focused and puts more emphasis on the little nuances you put in your writing that would otherwise be ovewhelmed by larger chapters. I look forward to the next chapter, and thank you for sharing!
