What to say about myself . . .

I started reading fanfiction several years ago, when I developed a fixation on Sesshoumaru. Miroku drew me to watch Inuyasha (I love that lecherous monk to death), but Sesshoumaru soon became my favorite character.

I was not always a fan of Sess/Kag stories, but a couple of very well written plots changed that. From reading on FF.net, I found A Single Spark, which led me here.

While I have a decent amount of writing experience, creative writing has never been one of my focuses. So, here I am, trying to see if I can flex my creative muscles a bit. My imagination definitely needs the work-out.

  • Shocking Situation -- Originally a one-shot response to katlady's "shocks" challenge, now a chapter story. Kagome receives an accessory that makes the guys in the group want to stay clear of her.

  • Frog Prince, Meet Cinderella -- Handsome, rich Sesshoumaru Takashi decides to escape his life for a while. Donning the persona of an unnoticeable, normal human, he begins to work at an American retail store and meets Kagome Higurashi, who teaches him to look beyond appearances.
  • Real Men of Genius -- Just because I get a kick out of those beer commercials and could imagine a couple of scenarios involving Sesshoumaru and Kagome, I started writing a couple of one-shots.

Stories I'm thinking about writing:

  • Who's Afraid of the Big Bad . . . Dog? -- I'm thinking of writing a series of one-shots where Sesshoumaru is stuck in a smaller version of his true form and he is put through many of the plots of well-known stories involving the Big Bad Wolf. Right now, I definitely have ideas for "Little Red Riding Hood" and "The Three Little Pigs."
  • For Priestess Skye's Reinventing The classics challenge and knifethrower's suggestion, I'm thinking of writing an Inuyasha version of Wuthering Heights, with Sesshoumaru as Heathcliff. It will be some time coming . . . I need to brush up on the novel and work out some other details.

Well, first things first. Thank you for reading and commenting on What Her Mother Didn't Know.
Second, I agree with you about the err.. male anatomy length. To me it's like big boobs on girls, a big no (plus, Sesshy is so perfect the size wouldn't be a problem! xD) and I was going to bash it as well--before I found out the living human size record was 13.5 inches. I felt a little bit like a hypocrite.
I'll give you a firm nod at your opinion about his beast. I think of him as a highly proud man, so far superior to everyone and that includes his own instincts. I also share the beliefs that if he "loses" control is merely because he decided to do so. It was tasteful when said beast was only a metaphor but people overused and twisted the concep, it's not tasteful anymore.
Finally, I'm very, very glad you're enjoying my baby! And your babbling was pretty much awesome sauce :3

Thank you for your review on "Legend of Zelda...*FAIL*". Honestly, I'm not sure how I did it either. All I could think of at the time was that silly song. I'm glad you liked my little bit of silliness!

Just wanted to say that I adore your fic Shocking Situation!! Jaken trying to kill off Kagome so he can be with Sesshoumaru is hilarious !! Keep up the good work.

Thank you for the review on 'Protocol'. You are the first person to make a guess on the consequences of Inu taking a mate before Sesshoumaru. I would answer you, but that would, perhaps, ruin it. ^_^
