Gently grasping her old school uniform The great Daiyoukai of the West cried. The crystal like drops rolled down his face to softly plop onto their once shared bed. He remembered all the nights they had spend just laying in the bed and talking about pups, Kagome's future as his mate, how he would be nothing like his own father and make sure his pups knew he loved them.
That would only be a thing of the past now. Inu-yasha stood at the door, his ears flat to his head, "Sesshomaru," when the crying youkai looked over at his half-brother the hanyou could feel his own eyes start to prick, "She would have wanted you to have this."
Dangling in Inu-yasha's claws was the necklace he had given her as a last mating present. it was a sapphire blue, the same color as her eyes, with polished crystals ringing around the outside. but the thing Kagome had loved best about it was the words he had placed on the back.

Taking the necklace in his own claws he shoved his brother from the room and collapsed to his knees, "Forever my mate...was never allowed." '
Yeah...the things sad songs will do to me. The art was inspired by the song Far Away by Nickleback. I always see a bunch of crying Kagome's running around and decided it was high time we saw a broken down Sesshomaru.
