Title: Lady of Setsuna
Height: 5' 1"

Kuenai is a hyperactive bookworm who, unlike most ladies of her station, is very knowledgeable about many different topics. Her father indulged her curiosity as a child, hiring the best tutors available to sate her thirst for learning. Because of her above average intelligence, she did not have many suitors seeking her hand. After a while, she became known as an eccentric, and her parents worried that she would never make a good match.
the Lord of Setsuna heard of Kuenai from a passing emissary, and became intrigued. Soutozu was a mna who valued intelligence in others, and was known as a bit of an eccentric himself for refusing to marry until he found a lady who could outwit him. Curiosity driving him, the Lord made the journey to meet the fair Kuenai, and after a few days in her company was besotted.
That night, a vision came to him of an battle more violent and terrible than any other before it. Calling for his inks, Soutozu immediately illustrated the horrible scene, and the next day gave it to Kuenai as a courting gift. At first the Lady was offended by the bloody scene, and refused the Lord's advances. But over the course of the week, she became intrigued by the mystery of this battle that had yet to come, and within the month, they were married.
It was a match made in heaven, and Kuenai was ever after her Lord for a new puzzle to challenge her, and he enjoyed watching her furious searches for answers with pride and adoration. Within a year, Kuenai gave birth to a daughter, whom they named Izayoi. Soutozu spoiled his daughter, giving her the best education possible just as her mother had.
When the Lord of Setsuna was struck down by a mysterious illness, Kuenai was inconsolable, only responding to her 7 year old daughter's calls to eat and function. Izayoi grew angry with her mother, and even after Kuenai finally overcame her grief, the young girl retained an uptight attitude of one forced to bear the responsibility of someone beyond her years.
Kuenai now rules her kingdom with her brother Tsukau at her side, using her vast stores of knowledge to deal with her subjects justly and kindly, just as her late Soutozu had in his life.
