Here, when Kogane says he wants to father a hanyou pup is because he has been fascinated with the idea of Kagome since he first met her. She's the first hanyou he has ever seen capable of transforming. He assumed is because her blood is very strong and so... he always wondered if his blood would be strong enough to pass on this sort of attributes to his own offspring.
Cuando Kogane dice que Touga siempre habia querido tener un hijo/a hanyou es parcialmente cierto. Touga quedo fascinado con la capacidad de Kagome de transformarse y siempre asumió era por la 'fuerza' de su sangre. La idea de que un hijo/a hanyou suyo pudiera tener la misma fuerza siempre le había interesado.

I'm in agreement as well. As much as I hope Kogane returns to reality, my sympathy is with Touga. I just hope that Inuyasha is not the one that ends up paying for this insanity. After all, how many years has it been since Kagome was attacked? It's been plenty of time for Kogane to adjust to what happened. Just think of what Kagome and Sesshoumaru have been through because of this madness. Keep up the great work!

Actually, I don't think Kogane cared who impregnated Izayoi, and that's why Touga stepped up. I have a feeling she told him what she planned for Izayoi, and knowing that another demon may hurt her out of spite/not caring, he volunteered to do it - to save Izayoi being killed and to give Kogane what she wanted. I don't think there's any apology due to Kogane - if anything, an apology is due to Touga. I see him as a bit of a victim in this situation. His hands are tied - he doesn't want to sleep with Izayoi, but its the only way to save her from any old demon Kogane might pick to get her pregnant.
I feel completely sorry for him. That he was curious what a hanyou child of his own would be like doesn't mean he'd jump at the opportunity to do so. It's probably killing him that it has to be this way, ESPECIALLY because Kagome IS still alive, and he considers her his daughter.
I gotta admit that I'm a little irritated at Touga but at the same time I feel sorry for him. Instead of apologizing to Kogane about sleeping with Izayoi he says "She would have been killed." I know that Kogane has gone crazy and he's trying to reason with her but he could have said he was sorry.
He does look like he's ready to cry. I think the stress is getting to him. The guilt of what he has done and the fact that his mate whom he loved is no longer the woman she once was seems to be wearing him down.
Great job! I can't wait to see what the next chapter holds.
