Description:
I'm realising I haven't submitted any new fanart in quite a while so I'm throwing in a teaser of a WIP.

This is a small extract of an image I started on yesterday, the rough shading on Sess and the background is done, 'all' that remains now is smoothing, refinement, detailing and the hair. Hopefully I'll have the finished picture up by the end of this or next week depending on how much time I'll find to work on it.

This is so beautiful, it reminds me of something my friend drew once of a cancer patient. (I know it's a work in progress but it's already very great) :)

Wow! So realistic! I actually kind of like the splotches of shading, it really gives it character. Can't wait to see the finished product! It's turning out wonderful so far ^^

The fanfic you're thinking of is called 'Embrace the Silence' by Trouble_in_Shan gri_La and it's a great fic but not the one that inspired to this particular image.

How beautiful! I thought maybe it was a fanart for that fic about Kagome working as a nurse and being entrusted to watch over a recently 'dug up, yet somehow still alive' Sesshoumaru.... I'm sure someone knows the one I'm talking about... it was something with 'Silence' in the title. I believe Sesshoumaru had his head shaved in the first part of that story. It's such a moving picture. I like how it is now, with such a rough look. 8)
