Description:
ok, well, this isnt finished, and honestly i doubt i ever will finish it. this drawing has brought me to the point of tears from frustration. I mean its my fault that i ruined a drawing with potential. i got so excited drawing it that i started coloring before i had even finished the lines. on top of that i decided i would try a different technique and style while coloring. this seriously should have been done days ago and now i cant even bring myself to actually finish it. the only reason im posting it is because i like how Sesshomaru's face came out and the fact i have been working on it for way to long. i also think my tablet is dying it was so unresponsive while i was working on this :( and Kagomes hand omg!! i must have re drawn that thing 50+ times and still couldn't get it looking right. this is just so full of fail it depresses me. Annnnnywayyyy there is actually a story behind this drawing! its an idea i have had running through my head for a little over 2 years. Whether i actually write it is still up in debate as I am positive I am a terrible writer XD, but i might start working on a rough draft of it and see how i like it not sure yet. So please forgive the unfinished cruddyness of it. at a future date when i have calmed down from my anger and frustration of this picture i may pick it back up and finish it, until then this is how it will sit :/

It's great. I love the new technique u are using, it is fabulous. It gives it a beautiful depth that I particularly love. Especially their faces; they are beautifully done!

i want to thank you all for your wonderful comments in my time of doubt about my abilities, to all those who left me tips and helpful advise you bet i am going to be keeping those in the fore front of my brain when i start my next piece soon, and i am so glad that what i was able to draw has made you feel something when looking at it, that is my biggest fear is a dont have emotion in my drawings, and as i posted just a bit ago at the moment where this sits its a free for all so if anyone wants to take it add to it or do what ever you want to it please do i would love to see that! and maybe one day further down the road i may pick it back up and finish it. for those interested in the story within the next few days i may start drafting the story out, theres still a few plot tweaks and other things i need to figure out on it but i do believe i may write something for it :)

omg! those prices!! I will so be looking into this sit when i get some extra money to replaces my tablet (till then im gonna force mine too work > :D ) i put a note on the this pic on devianart letting everyone know if they would like to add to this or clean it or pretty much do with it what they want they could, and i think maybe one day i will pick it back up and try to re work it :)so as of now its a free for all to who ever wants to play with :)

I'm going to pass on the advice an artist friend of mine gave me long ago - In the end, imperfections aside, does it work? You haven't done a drawing that doesn't work. I instantly know a drawing is yours and I know you're going to make me feel something. Isn't that what we strive to do as writers and artists? Make our readers/viewers feel? This drawing is quite lovely as it is. Don't be frustrated. Take the help offered, learn from it, and don't stop sharing your work and making us feel. It's what you do best.

I don't draw, at all, not since high school but I remember what my art teacher beat into us. It's about hands, and why it doesn't quite look right. From my perspective the fingers are just a little to long. In my art teachers words, "the middle finger should be no longer then the distance between the middle knuckled and the wrist."

I hope that helped, if it doesn't then that's okay. Very nice by the way, I really like the style.
