Sesshoumaru eyed the beverage with obvious interest, his golden stare fixated on the Hello Kitty mug in the priestess' hands. The small miko glanced at the daiyoukai who hovered by her, his flawless features set in their usual stoic mask yet the curiosity in his honey-colored orbs was undeniable. Kagome inwardly sighed. Sesshoumaru had persisted in watching her drink her morning coffee for the last two weeks. She was really getting fed up with it.

Her eyes blue slanting, the priestess glared at the demon Lord, clearly annoyed as his large body continued to intrude her space.

"Is there something wrong with my drink? Or do I drink it weird?" She demanded.

The demon Lord blinked languidly at her. His eyes slid in between she and the mug. He leaned in further, his nose hovering nearer to the puffs of steam. He inhaled the fumes silently. His eyes narrowed.

"I have never in my life smelt such a disgusting concoction, miko. I am interested in how you manage to consume it." He explained coolly.

Kagome blinked at the demon Lord, unsure if he was joking or not. His face remained placid and the steely seriousness in his eyes made it apparent it was not a joke. Her hands tightening around her mug, the girl couldn't help but laugh.

I'm working on the colored version of this piece but before I do the colored, I like to print out a copy and mark where all the shadows will go :) Tell me if you think it looks right ^.^ I did all the shadows/shading with just a BIC black pen XD...

I'll be adding the colored version this weekend :) Also for my fans for A DEBT TO BE PAID I have uploaded the re-edited chapter 16 ^.^
