I was inspired on some ridiculous plot in my head: After the Shikon Jewel is completed, Kagome is thrown back to the future. Sesshômaru and her had already fallen in love (don't ask me how or when) but they never showed it. So she can't return to the past and he waits five centuries just to see her again. But, as you may know, demons live a looot of time, but they aren't immortals. So, when they finally meet, the have their last "encounter" and Sesshômaru dies due to his advanced age.

Crazy me, I know.
