I colored the pic! Hope you like it! And please comment! So far, nobody is commenting any of my drawings. I feel so sad that nobody appreciates my art...nobody likes them...
It's not necessarily that people don't like your drawings, it's just most people are reluctant to tell you what they really think, but don't let that get you down. Draw because you like to, not simply for attention, because not everyone is gonna feel the same way you feel about your work. So, don't give up. Keep drawing and take advice so you can improve.
Your colour selection is very nice and the outfit looks quite original. Keep going and practicing and you will keep improving. You show creative ideas and are way ahead of me as far as drawing goes. It is nice to get comments and sometimes you if you go and leave nice reviews on other people's work, it will encourage them to come and look and critique yours.
Good luck, don't give up and keep drawing. If you enjoy drawing then you already have the reward of being happy with your own work. Other people's praise will come in good time.
Well, you are a young artist as regards your skill level. If I may be so bold, in the tutorial section on page 2 of the art gallery there are a number of tutorials that will help you to improve your skills. This one: www.dokuga.com/.../ is done by Sugar0o and is a very good instruction on drawing the human form, especially when followed by part 2: www.dokuga.com/.../. There are tutorials on eyes, shading, hair, backgrounds, pretty much everything you might need to know. Plus, if you come into chat on occasion, you might luck into one of our artists live streaming the creation of arts.
Sugar0o is a marvelous artist and has always been willing to help new artists who are serious about improving their work. You might also contact Terri Degado for advice, as she is another magnificent artist.
I encourage you to work to improve your skills. I think you do have good skills as this is a recognizable human figure and far from the stick figures that I produce. Judging from this piece, you have promise, but arts, like all good things, require work and practice. If you put that into your work, you will one day be among our great artists here at Dokuga and on DA.
