Now, I know you said that you aren't the best of artists just yet, but you've still done a wonderful job with this! I most definitely wouldn't have been able to draw this scene as well as you have--I really am a devastatingly horrible artist--so kudos to you!
Like Christine said, Kagome is very attentive, and I like how her expression conveys the worry she feels about what she's going to do. I also like the wizened look in Tanaka-sama's eyes. Their positions are great as well, and I have to say that you captured this scene very accurately.
