I know this may be OOC, and I'm not even sure if Inupa was cold, I guess he was, considering how Sesshomaru developed but I don't think he never hugged his pup, like, I don't know, the first time he went into the woods (and got "lost" because he's super curious) or just some spontaneous affection, I don't know.

Of course, that's a fact but even if he did loved him maybe he didn't show affection to him, that's just my guess. I never questioned love, of course he loved him and in his way he showed him that affection but I was talking about something more physical rather than something implied.

That's true but considering how most people portray him this may be a bit OOC and also we can guess he was a bit cold because Sesshomaru doesn't seem to be very emotive but I like to think of a world where Inupapa hugs his little pup.
