r0o's 'The Cost of His Happiness', Colored

Full view please and I warn you, it's a big un' lol. I left it that way so you could see the detailing.
Anywho my reasons behind this color scheme:
1) In r0o's lil story attached to this lineart, she states that Kagome absorbs Inuyasha's demonic half (or so that's what I gathered from it I dunno if that's right or not) making him completely human and thus turning his hair black. So I figured that if Kagome absorbed his demonic half, then wouldn't her hair turn white? *scratches noggin in ponderation or something*
2) I colored the Shikon as though it were corrupted, which in my point of view it would be since it didn't disappear when Kagome made the wish, thus leaving it in this world and no doubt slightly tainted.
3) I really liked the blue idea for the Kimono and over all picture simply because I think she would be so striking like this that she would probably do her best to 'blend in' or at least not be as noticeable (yeah I prolly kind of failed on that but oh well I still like it)
4) I made her stripes purple because every picture I looked up of Inuyasha while in his demon state, they were purple- even though I'm told their supposed to be blue *shrugs* I dunno call it creative license.
Well that's that, I hope you like it and as always credit goes to teh most awesome r0o for her wonderful arts.

Yeah if only I could LS :( unfortunately my computer doesn't like it when I LS so I can't >.< maybe one day though I'll get a new computer that will let me lol
UNF that's so awesome! Thank you for sharing, I'm always really interested (and impressed) with your coloring.
I used the Airbrush Pen Opacity Flow brush (in various sizes) while adjusting the Opacity- usually I keep it around 49% but not always. Then I use the smudge tool to blend it and occasionally the blur tool to blend it a bit better. For the hair I used a hair brush that I got out of a pack off DA but i can't remember where or who made them, my bad >.
