Maybe it is like one of those really cool cars. Realistically the boys could just walk or just get a cheep car, but this one feeds his pride.
As Sesshomaru lives in a time that does not have shiny cars, instead he has a dragon.

Because having a flying dragon is awesome, it's how Sesshoumaru get's all the ladies ;)
