“Sit!”
A silence followed while Kagome stomped to the anxious Kirara. She caught the small neko youkai and smiled, “Would you please allow a little fire envelop your tail?”
After a small meow, the demon conceded and moved its tail playfully.
“Miko,” the taiyoukai who had been observing the exchange interrupted, “are you sure this is enlightening to Rin’s knowledge?”
“Of course!” she cried, “The games were preceded by the marathon and the torch.”
“And when will I be able to defeat the hanyou? Now?”
