Picture information 

Description:
Okay here's the final version. I wanted to do more of a manga coloring style, although not really sure if I pulled it off. The picture could be called a fanart from a story because I was inspired by Striking Falcon's trilogy "Unexpected Allies" . And to Rowdys Girl the bike is a Triumph Scrambler 900.

Also I'm wondering if picture's like these are something people might be looking to buy when they go to conventions? So input would be helpful.

The detail in this pic is unbelievable...I can't really say anything else...wait I can....I sooo want to ride that bike!! It might just be me with sesshy in the pic and all but I gotta say the bike is callin me!!

This actually reminds of a story the how to train a taiyouki seris. This is for me the last installment when they meet up again centuries later. Thank you for this its like you did a commission for me.

Thanks for the info, but I would deffinetly want to start at some of the conventions closer to Omaha, NE. I know there are two in Nebraska, one in Kansas City and one in Iowa that are fairly good sized and I might be able to sell a couple at. But not planning to make a killing.

I'm not going to argue the quality of your work with you. I know artists and anything that doesn't measure up to what the artist intended to create will never be seen on its own merit, simply because it didn't turn out as envisioned.

This drawing doesn't look difficult, it looks intense. It communicates the intensity of the artist creating it. And it is very real.

The story it tells me is: he was out riding in the hills and the engine sputtered out. He's been pushing it for a long time, he's tired, dirty, would kill for a tall, cold beer; but he loves this bitch of a bike. And shoving her along the track in the late afternoon sun is just part of that love.

The folds and creases of his leathers are so perfect. These aren't new leathers, he's had them for years, you can even see the scuffs on them where they protected him from road rash after he laid his bike down a couple of times.

Amadeus, I compare his leathers to the fabrics seen in the works of the old masters. The folds and creases in the silks and velvets, the depth and realism they add to the subject. The way the light plays across his body. How his legs almost fade into the shadow cast by the bike because the light is so bright.

Do you see how much you've communicated in this drawing? And the sepia tones are perfect. If there was much more color, something would be lost. The fact that the only other color is in his eyes simply insures that they catch and hold the viewer.

We have some marvelously talented artists posting on this site, some who have left me breathless with their work. You, however, are in a class by yourself. Keep going.
