Does he casually position himself so her hand just happens to be perfectly positioned for a petting? Does he flop very very casually but so that he lands on her and then is *clearly* too tired to move again? I need to know.

And like dogs are never dignified about it. The Shepherd I had growing up would moan and shove his body under your hand. My puppy now comes sprinting whenever I pee because I'm unable to move away for a minute or two, then cries if I stop petting him for longer than 1.5 s. There's a collie at the dog park who backs up slowly but forcefully into my leg until I scratch his butt. How does oh-so-distant and dignified Sesshoumaru communicate his desire to be cuddled???
