I had a thought for my fic Shinto Maiden [updates coming!] which became this haha;
With the help of her mother’s sleep spell, Sesshomaru would allow himself to visit Kagome every birthday. He told himself he could only be with her unconscious form, always watched her while she slept. The more he visited however, the more he couldn’t help himself and finally gave in to the temptation to lay beside with her. But, holding her like he did, only increased his longing and he resolved and her 15th birthday would be his last visit until he could truly come back for her.
